here is one from all recipes that I used and it turned out quite nice:
INGREDIENTS
2 cups white sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
3 cups quick cooking oats

DIRECTIONS
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, cocoa, milk and margarine. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat and stir in the vanilla, salt, peanut butter and oats.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Allow cookies to cool for at least 1 hour. Store in an airtight container.
I will also cheat if I'm in the mood for something similar and microwave chocolate & peanut butter together and stir in oatmeal...doesn't really make cookies, but tastes good!

That sounds absolutely wonderful! I was going to make cookies this week, but I didn't want to use flour or baking powder because they give me headaches. But, I might try this recipe.

* 1 cup sugar
* 1 cup light corn syrup
* 1 cup peanut butter
* 6 cups crispy rice cereal
* 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
* 1 cup butterscotch chips
1. Butter a 9x13 inch baking pan.
2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and corn syrup, and bring to a rolling boil. Immediately remove from heat, and stir in peanut butter. Mix in the rice cereal until evenly coated. Press the mixture into the prepared pan.
3. In a glass bowl in the microwave, melt the chocolate and butterscotch chips, stirring occasionally until smooth and well blended. Spread over the top of the bars. Chill until set, then cut into bars.

I've never heard of it being made with crispy rice cereal and butterscotch chips. Sounds really good though. I might try this one also.

Yum No Bake cookies, I have not had them since I left my ex, he use to make them every year. My ex really was a good baker. He would make those No Bake cookies, Vera's recipe.My kids loved them and would of course help him out. We would give them as Xmas gifts as well. I had to respond, because I have not thought about or ate a No Bake cookie in such a long time. Thanks for reminding me and I may just have to make some now.

I know what you mean. I havent had them in so long its not even funny. I made a batch of them here about 6 months ago, but I only got to eat one. My husband ended up inviting some friends over and him and his friends ate all of them. They loved them more than anything. I just wish i knew what i did w/ that recipe I org. had. Owell the other 2 recipes sound just as good.
