HI friends, First let me thank all those my lotters who replied to my discussion on Avon.Let me tell you friends that your teachings, support, encouragement has helped me manifold.I cant express how happy was i to read all your post. They are so encouraging, that i refer to them again and again. Well not much difference has come into my business since them.I did get 15% profit level in two of my campaigns but i just cannot cover the price of my brouchers. So basically i incur a loss all the time. I have got an idea and i want to gather your views on it. I am planing to buy all the samples in bulk. Then i want to invite people for a Avon Sample Garage Sale. All samples for a dollar each.In this way people will get a chance to see, feel the product and their faith will be won. After all there is nothing like seing things in person then what we see in the book. I strongl;y want to do this.Do you think this will work?? All my lotters what would you do if you get a notice that someone around you is having a Avon Sample sale. All samples are for a dollar each. What would be your reaction???Would you visit go buy??? PLease PLease reply to my discussion.I REALLY NEED HELP!!!!!

One time they had lipstick samples in the books for sale and that is the only time I have ever sold the samples. I am not sure about this idea. Samples are suppose to be free. Now in your What's New flyer you can get some products No Limit Delayed Billing. For instance the Strawberry and Guava bundles and so on. You could buy stuff like this and have samples and have an Avon party and if you have stuff on hand people will buy faster than they will if they have to wait on it. And you will make more if you can purchase from the What's New flyers. I usually always get about 6-10 products per campaign to have on hand. I have about 30 of the Avon boxes that they ship in full of products. Anyways I have some ideas that you might like if you want you can add me as a friend and I will pm you some ideas, that might help you.

Hi Susan, How r u???When i posted this discussion i was hoping you all will reply to me.Specially the ones who had replied earlier. Thanks a Trillion for the reply. Well i must have missed out sending you a friend request.Sorry.I love to be ur pal and i need to be one.Ha ha ha. Well this idea of having a sample sale is just a weird fancy of my mind. But nevertheless i wanted opinions on that. Well i read you sold lipstick samnples.Yes i have a few but i give them to those who order me as a thankyou gift. And i too think no ones going to buy a sample. I dont think i would. So i will have them open to public so they can see, try and use themselves. My head rep had agreed to help me so i willl go ahead with it.Shall let you know how it turns. Another thing i noted in you reply is that, Yes in the flyer there are products that can be bought and you arent instantly billed.Yup, i read i was thinking the same.Like see there are people who need things early why would they wait so long. But if the product is there in front of their eyes they cant resist and in an impulse they but.I totally agree. But my Hubby argues, what if all the products arent sold off and if they come on a special in the next issue then people will be a reluctant to buy.Right???? Do reply to the question of mine. Thankyou.God Bless you.

Yes people will be buying if the products are on sale. Alot of them wait until there favorites go on sale.

Have you thought about retailing/recommending other products to your existing customer base? I started as an Avon rep, but have now boosted my income by adding an additional range of products and now generate twice the income from the same client base.

Well hello, Yes i have thought about selling my customers other products too.Like i have just started Avon in feb and at the same time i became am Amway IBO.So Avon i started and started learning about Amway.Through Avon i get customers and their contact details.I keep them in a book. When i will be ready to show Amway these are the people i shall be first targetting.I have planned to keep the cosmetic side away from and only to Avon. With Amway i will concentrate on others things. Thanks for the response.Be my friend Which other products do you sell??

unless you have a big clientele buying all those brochers are too costly, I used to just keep the two free ones and ask my friends to pass them around and give them back to me, I also had the book passed around at my work place, your idea may work or may cost you more money again if you do not sell the samples, avon people love free samples, and an avon rep that will tell them don't buy this product this campaign it will be on sale the next one, they will come back to you because they know you are honest

I would love free avon samples... in fact, I sign up for most reputable free beauty sample offers online. But I wouldn't pay for a sample. Plus, I live in the UK and I even if I lived near you I wouldn't drive any distance for a sample... which isn't free. So, sorry, but I think that idea may not be so successful!
