I have only watched two recently, Wicked The Musical and Mamma Mia!
I have watched many before this but can't really remember them. I think I really enjoyed the Secret Garden though.
But right now, I definitely have to say I enjoyed Wicked the most! I managed to get front row tickets and had a fantastic time. I smiled at how good it was all the way through. I never wanted it to end!

I probably can't put a finger on one specific musical and call it my favorite, becasue i love so many, but.....if I would have to choose I would say:
(In no specific order)
1)RENT
2)Avenue Q
3)Sweeney Todd
4)Hairspray
5)Into The Woods
These are just the first five that popped into my head, but they are all amazing!

Like you, I can't put my finger on one specific musical as my favorite. It seems as though we enjoy some of the same things. My favorite musicals include (in no particular order):
1. Rent
2. Les Miserables
3. Sweeney Todd
4. Hairspray
5. Into the Woods
6. Grey Gardens
7. The Scarlet Pimpernel
8. Elisabeth
9. The Drowsy Charparone
10. Urinetown
In fact, if you enjoy Sweeney Todd and Into The Woods, may I suggest that you check out other musicals by the incomparable Stephen Sondheim?

I love watching musicals! There is nothing that is comparable to watching people perform a musical live. My favorites are, in order:
1. Les Miserables
2. RENT
3. Miss Saigon
And the rest of my favorites, in no particular order, are Grease, Cats, Phantom of the Opera and West Side Story.
I really, really want to watch Wicked! I have listened to the soundtrack over and over and am completely in love with the songs and the voices. I think I pretty much know the story, but I can't wait to watch it live on stage.
Also, I loved watching the recently released Hairspray movie. Even though I haven't watched the Stage performance or the original Hairspray movie, I thoroughly enjoyed the remake movie and thought the songs were so happy and uplifting!
I wish there were more stage performances where I am.

I have never been to a broadway musical or live performance; but regarding musicals as movies, I absolutely love them. My favorites are "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", "Oklahoma", and "South Pacific". But it is hard to choose, there are really a lot of favorites to pick from. My son saw "Phantom of the Opera" on Broadway and loved it.

I like Miss Siagon, Annie, Grease, 42nd Street, Rent, and Last Session (an obscure musical about AIDS that I saw as an undergrad and cried the whole way through). I love musicals performed by everyone, even kids without much talent.
