We are having unusually long summer here, all the frogs have moved away and the mosquitoes are breeding like crazy.I'm being woken up every hour with a mozzie sucking the blood out of my face.
Anyone got any human safe ways to get rid of these.....
tell me.......

Hi kishore, I live a country which lies in the tropic so the weather here is hot and wet. Of course there are lots of mosquitoes around no matter how seriously we take care of the environment unless there are totally no drains around our house, but it’s impossible. So the best way and only way to escape from these disgusting small blood sucking insects is to have mosquitoes net fixed on every window, door and ventilation hole of my house. These could practically prevent the nasty insects coming in our house. I then could enjoy a sound sleep every night.

kishore, guess you are from india and so am i, well all i could suggest is start using these mosquito rebel coils that you get in the market. I have also noticed in the evenings especially when the sun is setting i mean twilight it is very very important for you to keep all the windows of your house closes. that is the time they swam in like crazy. Once it gets completly dark thats when you open the windows. this will realy help.at the same time there are a lot of ointments you get in the market to apply on your hands and feet not to get bit while you are having your sweet dreams.

Hello, kishore! wherever in India you would go you will find the mosquito problem.in my city the problem is so acute that the municipal corporation could do nothing with it.it is only we can save our lives by some means.i have been spending about one hundred rupees every month for purchasing of All Out or Good Knight Liquid and some times tablets to eradicate mosquitoes from the bed rooms and other living rooms.this method is only the alternative to save yourself from them.thank you.

I use a citronella candle. Burn it for about an hour before u retire at night. If u can handle the scent let it burn longer. Mozzies hate it! citronella oil sprinkled onto an towel etc and hung over your headboard will also keep them away.
