do you pay attention to your intuition or gut feelings?

When I listen to my intuition, such as deciding not to do something after all, I'm usually glad that I did. After all, I usually avoid an unpleasant situation. There are also times when I ignored my gut feelings and lived to regret it. So I feel that such feelings are extremely important! How about you?

Yes, I try to pay attention to my intuition. I think our intuition is always speaking to us -- we can choose to listen or not. :)

I have to agree with you, on following intuition, I have at times ignored it only to regret it. And followed it only to be glad I did. Sometimes my instincts have lead me to good places sometimes not so great however on those not so great times there usually was a good reason for it like getting me out of a rut, or a good learning experience that eventually lead to something better for having gone through it. I learned a long time ago to pay attention, one time I didn't listen to my intuition and I ended up stranged [pre cell phone days] when my car broke down in an area that had no pay phones near by, long long walk to pay phone, I would have been better off calling out of work, which every thing inside of me screamed to do. Another time I just knew I didn't want to be driving some where however I had the car [my car was broke down driving mom's] so I had to pick her up from work, on a 5 lane highway where every car for 3 miles was at a complete STOP, including me, I was stuck in traffic [again pre cell phone] which ok wouldn't have been so bad the delay etc, except that the guy behind me didn't stop, and I have had a problem with my spine due to back injury from him hitting my car at such a fast speed every since. So yea now I follow my gut feelings/ intuition/ instincts/ whatever term that is appropriate. I have learned the hard way that if I follow those feelings it may cause hassles or problems, but if I ignore them, it causes MORE problems and usually longer lasting or more expensive.

Hi there scribe! Most of the time, I usually follow my intuition. Except for some really major decisions that should be done and where more things should be considered more than just intuition.

I agree with you. And with me, it is my first feelings about something. After I've thought about, then it is no longer my intuition. I try to go with my first impressions of what to do.

Before, I never pay so much attention to my instincts, gut feelings and intuition- whatever you may call it. But you know I more experience instances when I didn't follow my instincts by doing it the other way around and I regret it, because it turned out that my instincts are true. This happened several times. So moving forward, I have learned to trust my instinct more. I had situation where I did follow and I turned out happy for things ended up in my favor. It do helps on giving us good decisions. Stay safe =)

Yes. I pay attention to my intuition or gut feelings especially when I'm confronted with situation where I am not sure how to decide. This is where intuition comes in. When I play chess I use my intuition a lot because I cannot calculate every possible moves.
