I don't have the right
to touch you anymore
to run my fingers through
your long red hair
or to trail kisses across
your strong shoulders
marveling at your creamy skin
I don't have the right
to be near you
to call you my lover
or my friend
But you can't stop me
From loving you
You don't have the right.
The poetry obsession continues, please forgive me if I'm being annoying, but I can't seem to stop.

Is this about the friend that you will never get over? If so it is touching and she lost a good thing when she lost you.

Did you know I have red hair, strong shoulders and creamy skin? Weird huh?

Ah yes, she has beautiful long red hair. Gotta love those Irish girls. *sighs*
My hair used to be red, when I was very young, but it just started getting darker and darker. Now it gets some really red highlights when I'm in the sun enough, but I couldn't really call it red anymore.
But the woman in my poem has true red hair, and lots of it, and it's just lovely.

Alas , it is a redheaded woman. Forgive me, when i read long red hair I thought of my dream man. he has long red hair.Red headed men turn me on but I do admire redheaded women too.If I were bi, I bet my girlfriend would have red hair.

You are not annoying at all Lecanis. I have found that I too can't stop once I get going in my writing. Some days I can't write at all and other days I just can't put it down. I'm writing a book and it gets hard sometimes. Last week I finished two chapters and this week I haven't written anything at all. This is a wonderful poem!

It's amazing how that works. I actually wrote a couple others that I posted to my blog, and a few that I haven't put anywhere yet, last night. I do the same thing with my book I'm writing too, writing a lot and then putting it away for a bit.

Who is this girl with red hair? I used to have red hair. It's probably not me. There's millions of girls with red hair right? Great poem.
