amanda leaving tonight!i am so sad!

Personally over all, I was quite shocked. There is no way she should have left tonight. It should have been Kristy Lee Cook. I think she has been given way too many chances and if she wants to prove who she is as a Singer, she needs to be a lot better next week to show me something. My husband and I also Loved Amanda, and was shocked to see her leave over Kristy. But America is the one who Votes, or don't Vote as they say. But I do wish Amanda the Best, and feel we have not begun to see the last of her.

To be honest I didn't think she'd make it much farther if she DID go on. She did a pretty good job last night but I just don't like her voice. She almost slurs when she sings and her words all sound muffled and too together. I just can't get in to her voice. So I think either way they woulda made a good decision. Kristy's not so great, Amanda's got more talent but she's just too scratchy for my liking.

I wasn't really an Amanda fan. I thought her singing was more like slurring and she sounded the same every week. I think her getting voted off was bound to happen eventually anyway.

I love Amanda and was really sorry to see her go. I dont know what's up with Kristy and how she keeps slipping through she is the worst!! Amanda is and awesome performer with a great voice... I love that she's the typical cookie cutter type contestant.

I am an Amanda fan and was sorry to see her go this soon. There are a couple others that I feel should have gone (and one I STILL can't figure out why they even made to the top 24). However...she did tend to do the same thing every week...last week I told my husband that she needs to do a ballad and quick- I think I said it here too and my words were "Meatloaf did it, she can to." Paula said that this week, and Amanda made it clear we would hear nothing else from her but what we have heard. In *my* opinion, humble as it sometimes is not, that is what ended it for her. Yes, I think she has a career ahead of her.

She is talented but not cut out for being and idol. If she starts doing bars around her home, I am pleased that it won't be a long drive for me.

I No I think Kristy should have left by now. Amanda might not have made it to the final three, but she added something different every week. I think she might get a recording contract out of this.

I think it should have been the Katie chick. She's too country, too twangy and not interesting to watch. I usually take her song to go to the bathroom. Amanda was actually one of my favorites. I think last week was wrong too. I really think it's going to be one of the guys this year, cause the rest of the females aren't that impressive. I am wondering why I gave AI another chance this year. I didn't watch but maybe 3 episodes last year. It was awful. I watched the year carrie underwear won, and that was messed up. Chris Daughtry getting booted when he did was messed up. I think it's intentional by 19 Entertainment to keep some drama. I believe I am done this year too.

I too was upset that she went home this early. She has a great voice and talent. I'm hoping that we hear more from her in the future. I loved listening to her sing. I think the different sound is what gave her something special.
