Friend or Foe,,,,,,How do you know?????

I have been haveing trouble knowing if the people calling themself my friends are my friends or not.They are all nice to my face and then when i leave, the talk begains.I am talking about the girls that i work with.They are like."Tabitha i love you and would do anythin for you." And then turn and smile or make a funny face at the other girl.Thinking that i am not looking. Or they will be talking and then you walk in the room and everything stops.When i asked them about this and told them how i felt they was all like. No Tabitha we aren't saying anything about you.Am i being paranoid,or do you feel the same when that happens to you?

Unfortunately I am more than familiar with that kind of thing. I have had so called friends pretend to be a friend and try to get things from me, then the next thing I know they backstab me. I have real trust issues now thanks to some of them. I haven't been backstabbed in a while but thats because my guard is up so high.. not good either.

I know. It's like when you start to trust someone they stab you in the back.I think that is why i don't have any "true friends".I know that i want get hurt if i don't let them in. It's sad.
