How often do you say "I love you" to your partner?

Just thought of asking, since me and my husband always say I love you to each other all the time. Like after we talk over the phone, and a number of times within a day. Sometimes we're just watching tv, and one would say I love you out of the blue.. Sometimes I'm in the shower, and he'd shout I love you, from the next room.. I just love hearing that from him. Aside from it shows love, it gives me security, a feeling that he's madly in love still..lol
So I guess I say I love him for 30x a day minimum a day, sometimes I just can't count it. Too much! How about you?

Everyday before we to sleep. He isn't an affectionate person so it's hard for him to constantly say it. However he usually shows it more than he says it. Like for example, he brings me a burger without the pickles, and without me remind him. Or on Valentine's day he sends me a pizza instead of flowers because he knows I think flowers just die but I can always eat :) It's good to hear love but its even better to feel it!

I'm not sure exactly how many times, but we do say it every night in bed before we go to sleep. I think how a person shows their love is more important than them actually saying it and sometimes it can be a bit overdone. Personally, I don't want to be told 30 times a day "I love you" LOL, but then, I'm probably much older than you and when you are older that kind of romantic gesture seems juvenile for us old phogeys lol. I'm glad you are enjoying your marrige, that's so sweet.

Yeah, I'm having fun with being married. lol It's just feels great when he'd say he loves me on instances that I'm not expecting that he will. I think when we get older, I think I want more I-love-yous..lol Oh well, I don't know, we'll see haha. Thanks for posting!

We say it every day, especially before we are leaving apart from one another because you never know if it's the last time we'll see each other. Also, before bed. I know it's old fashioned, but we decided to follow the rule that we will never go to bed angry at one another.

My husband and I have the same rule..even we have this argument on something, and we're upset, no matter how big or small it is, we promise to talk and make up before we go to sleep. It's nice to sleep without thinking we're upset at our partners, and it's great to wake up with them loving you.

I always say I love you to my girlfriend, beacuse I think my girlfriend likes hearing the words spoken from my mouth. And in fact, she likes the words very much. So I always speak I love you to my girlfriend when I give a call to her or send a short message to her, and she is so happy. I think the words I love you can improve our emotions.

I don't think we are at 30 times, but I will guess 10 to 15 times. Also, we also make a point of saying Thank you, to show we appreciate the small things that we do for each other, not just the big things.

All the time... every day
I like to express my feelings to him all the time ^^ And he likes to do it too...
We never know when we'll be gone, and that's one of the reasons I prefer to always let the person know what I'm feeling ^^

My husband and I have been together about five and a half years. I cannot even behin to tell you how many times we say "I love you" in a day. Too many to count. My husband tells me all day every day. He also does little things for me to let me know in more than words that he really does love me.

My girlfriend and I, always say those magical words to each other. We always say that by feeling the importance of that couple of words. looking at each others eyes or if it is on the phone we listen to hear those words just like we are tasting a delicious food.
I am so happy to be with her and I am more than being happy to see she loves me too. This is not an easy thing to find really. I have always been looking for that kind of a feeling and now I have one. So I will never keep my words inside. Instead I like saying whatever comes from my heart to her.
I don't think saying those words so many times (everyday, every hour)would break anything if you do it right.

i share your views in this. me and my hubby says i love you like almost every hour!!! hahaha? sounds too mushy but thats just us. it comes out just out of the blue.i just cant stop saying it to him and i think so does he...even though people keep saying that action speaks louder than words, sometimes you feel that you really need to hear the word for it sends a feel good feeling inside you...
so lovers out there, spread the word... i love you...

Me and my boyfriend say i love you alot to one another. I would say everytime we get off the phone or everytime we are leaving the house or each other we make sure to say i love you. Its very important to me to express that to him or anyone in my family for that matter. I dont know how some people go through life never saying i love you to their loved ones because they just dont know how to express themselves.

We do say it a lot, and every day too. He always says it first though which he sometimes points out, but I have never been one for saying it first, I dont know why! I guess we say it about 4 times a day at least.

It seems to me that you and your husband are both the ones who are willing to and good at expressing your love to each other. i really admire you. I feel exactly the same with you , i also love hearing my boyfriend say "i love you" to me, and whenever i miss him or be moved by him, i would tell him "i love you", maybe once every day. We are not in the same city, we communicate with each other by sending SMS, so we don't have so many oppotunities to say "I love you" to each other, but we seize every chance to express our love, just like you and your husband.Wish you two be happy forever!

We always say I love you, so I can't honestly tell you how many times we do. We're probably around the 30-40 mark. We say I love you on the phone, at dinner, watching tv, in the car, out in public. I agree with you on the security thing as well, also it just makes me feel good to hear him say it. I still get those little butterflies when he tells me, and that's amazing, because we've been together for almost 6 years and I just can't get enough of him. He's the same way with me, which is wonderful.

That's so nice to hear that you have such a good relationship.
I am similar in the fact the we always say i love you if one is going out or at the end of a phone call as you do.
Also when we go sleep at night we sort of whisper it to each and curl up together- which as you mentioned, really helps you to feel secure in your relationship.
I have a son who i say i love you too all the time, so he grows up willing to show his affection for people. xox
