My poor feet are probably the most neglected part of my body, lol. Funny that since they are the part of the body that gets the most wear and tear. A friend of mine bought me some moisture socks the other day. Had to laugh, never heard of such a thing, apparently you put them on at night and they make your feet all soft the next day. Have not tried it yet. I also got some peppermint foot fizz, lotion, massage roller and sander. My feet are not going to know what has hit them, lol.
How about you, are your feet spoilt or neglected?

Oh! My feet are usually spoilt rotten...but it's been sadly neglected the last one month or so.
I usually get a professional pedicure done once a month...and take care of them at home.
But like I said...I've been so busy the last one month...that I've neglected them and they are in need of a high dose of pampering now.

sadly my feet are badly neglected. by the end of the day they are crying out to be released. they are called Nelson and Mandela and have been encarcerated for 44 years. they smell like a corpse in a sewer.
this does not make me sound very appealing. infact my wife bought me a bar of soap with instructions on it.

I pity your wife, lol, if your feet smell like a sewer. I would have bought you a years supply of the strongest smelling soap there is. I think your feet need to be released from prison and start afresh, lol.

My feet are completely spoiled. Not only does my husband rub them when I ask him to. He paints my toenails too.
He draws me a tub of hot soapy water to soak them in and massages them (regulary) afterwards.
I pamper my feet. I wouldn't know how to act if I couldn't.
I get pedicures frequently. I lotion them every night before bed and SOMETIMES I soak them with baby oil, wrap them in plastic, put socks on over the plastic and sleep that way. You would be amazed at how it makes your feet feel.
Good discussion kiran.

Your welcome!! Hope you don't mind I started a discussion on how people's husbands spoil them, you gave me inspiration for this discussion, it made the top discussion list, lol. I also mentioned how a lucky person here on mylot is spoilt by her hubby - he rubs her feet and paints her toenails. Check this discussion out, it is a good one.

OMG my next discussion is going to be where do I find a husband like yours?? Gee you must be doing something right, I would never have dreamed in a million years a guy painting my nails. Your feet must look and feel pretty goood, you should enter them into tv commercials. Thanks for your response.

Feet though seem to be the most unseen part of the human body part they're very vital to human existance. without them we can't comute efficiently, without them some sporting. so they're the part that i'll consider able movement for the body.
i pamper my feet, maybe they get most care, they wear most of the expensive footwear. though if without the other parts they're also insignificant. therefore unity is strength. so i take care of the feet as the other parts of the body.

Hi cupid, petroleum jelly, never heard of that for pampering your feet. Have to give that a try one time. Glad your feet are not neglected in winter, lol. Try spoiling your feet in the other seasons too.

I do not pamper my feet either, funnily enough when I got out of the bath the other day I looked at my feet and thought that it was about time I did something with them. Especially now that summer is on its way and I want to be able to wear opened toed shoes, instead of having to hide my feet away because they are minging!

Maybe you could give the moisture socks a try too, lol, then whack some nail polish on and your feet will be ready to enter the sunshine again in your open toed shoes. Thanks for your response.

Are moisture socks those things you put cream in and then leave them on your feet? I think I had some of them from avon once, they are weird, but if I remember rightly they worked a treat and made my feet really nice. I wonder if I still have them, I might have to have a look tomorrow!

My feet are pretty neglected. I only put foot lotion on every once and awhile, which isn't that often. Now that I'm home, I don't wear socks as often so my feet tend to get rougher. I've put lotion on a few times to try and keep them soft but I've found I think it's kind of useless.

oh interesting on the moisture socks - I have never heard of them before either.
This afternoon my little one grabbed the lotion and took it upon herself to massage and moisturize my foot. It really felt so good and relaxing. What a kid, I would not want to go rubbing someone elses dry skin feet!

I do buy foot lotion because it's usually thicker and works a little better than normal lotion on feet. Once in a while I will buy something like the fizz and I have a sander but rarely ever use it. I used to pamper my feet a lot more but as I get older, I have started to neglect them. I try, but I forget I guess.

Yes it is easy to forget about our poor feet and they are the most used part of our body. Atleast your feet get a little bit of attention, lol.

I think my feet are neglected, too! But every once in a while, I pamper my feet by soaking it in some foot bath and proceed by doing pedicures.

I have to admit that my feet are really neglected till recently. I don't really care about my feet that much until like a couple days ago I realize how ugly and rough they have become. Then I bought some cream specially for feet, and I have been applying it on my feet for around 2 days. I think I will keep using that and I will buy a feet scrub too so that my feet will get softer (hopefully).

hi kiran-my feet also get neglected at one time though my daughter and i did start soaking our feet in a foot spa and it was so relaxing and my feet felt so soft-mind that didn't last long-now i jjust forget or cant be bothered to get the foot spa out-but i have heard about the moisture socks and that if you put a soothing cresm on your feet before you go to bed and keep them on overnight it does make them soft and energised-let me know how you get on anyway--your friend littleowl

Definitely neglected. I have used Mary Kay's Satin Hands on them before and it is wonderful! But I don't do much of any of that kind of stuff nearly enough. I put a spa tub in my new master bath and when it finally gets installed (I have been told it isn't high on the priority list...not to the *guys* doing the work anyways, as in my dad and my husband...SIGH...men, why I thought they would see it any other way...lol) Anyway, once it finally gets installed I plan to have a "me" night once every other week...or maybe once a week even. :) Enjoy your moisture socks...!

most of the time, my feet are neglected, i put lotion all over my body every morning after shower and that includes my feet..just a fast fast application because no time of pampering them... :-) although once every two months i get my myself a foot spa, still not enough to pamper my feet for tiring job everyday.... and although its very cheap here in the philippines to have footspa ( its cost you around 200 pesos ($4)) still my feet are not my priority. hu hu hu :-)
