Well she's here, a perfect little angle, just like the first girl:) Delivered via c-section, she was born 6lbs 15oz, 50 cm long, and quite the beauty if i do say so myself:) We named her Shyanne Willow Harmony Thank you everyone who was pulling for us and praying, surgery was fine, and hospital food wasn't soooo bad either!:) sorry again i won't be around much for a while. I miss you guys, andhavebeen having some severe mylot withdraw, hence i am up out of bed typing with one hand nursing the baby with the other LOL. Goodnight all, and to make thisa "real" discussion, give me all your birth stories, or friends birth stories!:)

Hello Sissygrl!:-) Congratulations!:-) Well, we came to know about this good and happy news through your friend myworkid1987. I am glad that surgery was without any problem, that you are fine and the baby is healthy. And yes, she is quite a cute baby girl! I am glad that food wasn't too bad for your tastes. I hope you take as much rest as is required to be able to take care of not only your baby but also your own health and well being! :-)

Thanks Kamran, We are doing well besides the first daughter having a few meltdowns that lead to mommy having a few meltdowns lol. Getting through the first week will be the hardest for my first i think. She will adapt though, she's a good girl ;)

I am glad to know that you are doing fine. I guess, it would be difficult for your other one but I hope she will get along soon. I too got more good news today; I am blessed with a niece. My family says that she is very cute! And, my father told me that her elder sister is feeling estranged. So, I guess, this is universal phenomenon!:-)

Congratulations! When I started here I would type with one hand and nurse a little baby with the other...now he's a much bigger baby that thinks it's funny to kick the keyboard if I sit here while nursing so those days are over! I have six birth stories of my own and I'm sure you don't have time to read them all! For the most part they were all the typical story...contractions for hours, annoying hospital staff, pushing and then immediately falling in love with the baby. My fourth got really stressed out from the pushing because he was stuck so he got pulled out with the vacuum thing and was very close to being an emergency c-section. My 6th came out fast when he finally decided to, after 19 hours of easy labor. My doctor was just sitting there across the room putting her stuff on when he decided to crown and keep coming, they all kept telling me not to push and I kept telling them I wasn't and that he was just coming out. He was laying there on the bed with just his feet still in when the doctor finally got to me and pulled the blanket back.

No birth stories for me, darlin, whew! But your Shyanne is gorgeous and I just love the spelling of her name. You are missed too, Sissy, but we all know what you're so busy with now, don't we? I'm just trying to picture you nursing with one hand and typing with the other. Ha, too funny!

Congratulations! She is absolutely beautiful! I definitely know the "nursing and typing with one hand" deal! My last baby was born via C-Section as well. You sound like you are doing better than I was! I could hardly make it off the couch during the healing process.

What a beaufitful little angel you have I wish you a speedy recovery from your c section. I have two children and I had them both naturally I was blessed that neither one of my births was all that painful. My son was 6 pounds 11 oz and my daughter was 5 pounds 12 oz she barely weighed more than a bag of sugar! Both of my kids were little angels to me. Congrats.

That many names? (Kidding) Hope you are doing well "Ma". I don't know if you should be out on mylot, but if you have Mylot withdraw... what can you do eh? This is a discussion no matter what. Better than "I liek poniez" anyways. Plus this is a family site...(supposedly).

What a cheerful way to wake up on a cold and wet morning here. Very many congratulations. I remember holding my daughter for the first time. There will never be another experience like that for as long as I live. I was the first to hold her as my wife had a C section but was knocked out for the birth. I sat there holding this beautiful bundle, just like you are, and looking down at my sleeping wife and thinking, nothing could be better. May you have many years of joy together. XX

Congrats!!! I have two children delivered by c-section.. My first child was a boy.. The whole 9 Months we were told that we were having a girl.. So, after spending ton's of money on pink items, we were hit with a very big surprise come delivery day.. I had many life threatening issue's, but when it was over was soooo excited with my new son.. Would've not traded him for a girl anyway's.. I ended up giving some of the clothes away to a neighboring family that just had a girl and was supposed to have a boy.. The family told my mom that they didn't have money to buy anymore clothes so my mom brought them all the girl clothes.. I decided that I wanted another child almost 5 years later.. I had said that I would not go through another horrible delivery, to be frank I was really scared.. So, I just went for it and had faith it would be ok.. It was really touch and go because at first we could not find the heartbeat.. I was sent to do a major ultrasound and there was my little girls heartbeat.. Yes we were having a girl.. My kids are no longer babies now, and I feel I am the happiest mom ther is with my children.. Wow, thanks for posting this brought back all the memories of my babies as babies..
