How to make slaw???

I take my head of cabbage and slice it as fine as I can. Some times I add granny smith apple or and raisins. for the dressing i mix some mayo and either lemon juice or vinegar and some sugar. Sometimes I will add some fennel seeds too.

This is a yummy coleslaw salad that I've made for a few parties...everyone loves it RAMEN SALAD Dressing: 1 cup oil 1/4 cup sugar 1/3 cup white vinegar 2 seasoning packets from ramen noodles Salad: 1 lb. package cole salad mix 2 packages ramen noodles 4 stalks green onion, sliced 1 cup salted sunflower seeds 1 cup slivered toasted slivered almonds Combine ingredients for dressing and refrigerate. Break up noodles, mix all dry ingredients together, pour dressing over dry ingredients; mix well and chill before serving.

I use the cole slaw mix by Dole and follow the recipe on the bag, only triple or even quadruple the dressing if you like it creamy like I do. Also, I like to put mine in the blender or food processor to grate it more fine. Annie
