Do you still watch cartoons?

Now that Im an adult, I still remember my dad when he used to rent a lot of Betamax tapes for me and my little brother to watch especially the classic Mickey Mouse cartoons. Now when I watch disney channel on cable, I usually tell my son that we have seen that cartoon when we were little and its much older than him.
Nowadays, I still find time to watch cartoons in my free time and enjoy watching them. I take time to learn the lessons it wants to convey like in the Lilo and Stitch series and Monsters Inc. Oh how I love the animated cartoons now and how they are made to be as realistic as possible.
So do you still enjoy watching cartoons?

Hi Shaunbt. Like you, I used to watch roadrunner and cayote too and its somewhat similar to Tom and Jerry cartoon.

yeah i think in evry adult will be forever a little bit of child too. I still watch cartoons, speicaly when I see Tom and Jerry, that was my favourite. Or popeye, I used to love that. when i see it on tv , I will watch it,but I never really felt like rent it from store.

Hi Laurika. I too liked Tom and Jerry and their canny ways to outwit each other and Popeye too! Well today, there are a lot of cartoons on TV that the only thing for rent are those newly made movies of the series.

Oh my yes, I love cartoons. In fact I just got all the DVD's of the Lilo and Stitch movies, all four of them. Now I just need the whole television series too! I enjoy Scooby Doo too, he's one of my favorites. I like the Kim Possible movies and series too. In fact I am going to try to get those on DVD too.
I like to pretend that I watch cartoons because of the kids but the truth of the matter is that I watch them sometimes even when the kids are not even home so.... yeah, I like cartoons and still watch them.

Hi Horses! Wow all the Lilo and Stitch movie collection! I will also collect them as well as the TV series too! I also like Kim possible and scoobydoo before. Isnt it good to destress and just enjoy pretending to be a kid and fulfilling the kid feeling in us when we watch cartoon? Keep ion watching and enjoy life!

sometimes I spend time watching, I still appreciate and enjoy it but If I have a good choice in the TV, will not prioritize it..lol

I said the same thing to my children. When I was a kid, my dad used to rent Mickey Mouse Cartoons video tape. I will watch the tape the who day and never get bored. Today our childeren still watch the same series of Mickey Mouse cartoons and still they love to watch them. Cartoons are meants for all level of age and I still enjoy watching cartoons. My favorite now is Sponge Bob.

Thanks Goldwin. Yes its wonderful to know how many of us have grown with the Mickey Mouse cartoons when we were little and continue to love them. I agree that cartoons are meant for all ages and brigns out happiness and the kid in us.
Spongebob is my cousin's favorite although I cant get to watch him often. Now my faves are from the Pixar movies. Have a nice day!

I also very much watching the animated cartoon,I like looking that the comparison does the animated cartoon which smiles, likes looking that I looked in chinldhood,thought is very interesting!

Sometimes, I get to watch cartoons with my 6 year old. I enjoy watching Barbie, Bratz and the movies Ice Age, Happy Feet, and the like. I feel like a child all over again whenever I'm watching them. Good thing there's still that child in me who appreciates these things. I hope I don't lose it, even when I'm old and gray. :)

Yes, I do, but now due to limited time i wasnt able to watch cartoon shows. But there are times I watch it on tv and my kid will tell me I am being kids agaqin. But given the time, I still want to watch tv cartoons, even if I cant recall the titles.

Oh,no,I barely watched animated cartoons ever since I went high school.But I do like Tom and Jerry very much.It's so cute,is especially our Shanxi dialect version.Well,I haven't seen the original America version.Tom and Jerry is very famous in China,it has different versions of different dialect in China.

Yep. If it weren't for cartoons, I wouldn't have anything to watch when football season ended. Oh gosh how many more weeks till football? My Sundays haven't been right since the Super Bowl. LOL.
