My plane leaves for New York tomorrow. Exciting! I've been to New York several times before, and I always have a good time. I love seeing Broadway Shows. Have you seen any good broadway shows in New York? What is your favorite part of the city?

Have a great time! I don't get to go back till July, but I would go to the Big Apple once a month if I could afford to do so. Plays? Try "Wicked" . . . it's fairly decent. Or "Mary Poppins" . . . that's a hot ticket. Favorite jaunts: * Central Park - pack a lunch and spend the day - you might even bump into Angelina, Brad and their kids at the zoo. * Midtown Manhattan - just point your nose and walk, and window shop, and people watch. * Downtown Manhattan and Brooklyn bridge - be prepared for a long walk. If you are into camera equipment, stop by J&R near the bridge for great deals. * Bryant Park - great spot for people-watching. * Upper West side - after Central Park, walk up Columbus Avenue - there's a bakery that sells Caramel Carrot Cheesecake - Yummy! * Coney Island - an hour long subway ride, but this heritage place has a wonderful old historical feeling. Have a splendid vist! H28

I don't have a favorite. I love everything about the city. Its all so much fun. Plays I've seen are legally blonde, grease, Young Frankenstien, Beauty and the Beast, Rent, and so many more. I can't say that i didn't like any one. Of course there are some better than others but none I didn't like at all. The thing I don't like about the city is that it is soooo expensive. i live on Long Island and thats expensive for most of the country but when i go into the city its even worse!

I grew up in NYC and moved at age 37. I love about NY is the energy but in the same breath, sometimes it's too much (traffic, lines), so I love living in the country now, but I have to get back a few times per year for Broadway. I love all Broadway and off, and off-off shows. My three top are Spamalot, Phantom and Les Miz.

Most of my favorite shows have closed."Gypsy" and "South Pacific" are still running, and both are fantastic. "In the Heights" is great, as well. This is actually the time of year in which many shows close. "Legally Blonde" and "[title of show]" close October 12th. My favorite part of the city is the West Village. My college dorm is there this year. It's got a great sense of community, and it is just beautiful. There are lots of old buildings and botiques along gorgeous tree lined streets. My little sister lives in Brooklyn and loves it (Clinton Hill).

I am jealous. I wish it was me going back to New York City. New York City for me, was one of the most exciting places I have ever been. We were unable to see any Broadway plays this last time when we were there, but we did see a lot of other things in New York. Actually, since next year will be our 10 yr. Wedding Anniversary, we are planning on going back there to visit again, and a Broadway play is definately in our plans. But one of the Best things we got to see while there, was Ground Zero, and the Statue of Liberty. We actually only seen the Statue of Liberty from the Staten Island Ferry but it was worth the trip. Have Fun, Enjoy, and tell us all about it when you return.
