nanajanet I think that the US should let countries handle their own wars, etc. He was not a good man, and I am not sure this regime is much better, but it all comes down to oil. If US did not need the oil, we would not have gotten involved.

nanajanet We just had one last night, 1:30 am to 3:00 am. Wind and a tree took down a power line. Now why not cut trees near the lines BEFORE they fall. Keeping squirrels out, they can't chew through steel, so that would help.

nanajanet Around here, when we had an ice storm, so many trees fell and took down power lines. There are still some tress, laying on lines. My idea would be NOT to put them near tall trees or cut down or top off, those trees. Just a matter of common sense, yes?
