nanajanet We just had one last night, 1:30 am to 3:00 am. Wind and a tree took down a power line. Now why not cut trees near the lines BEFORE they fall. Keeping squirrels out, they can't chew through steel, so that would help.

nanajanet Yes, the more rural areas, like us, are the last to get repair. Sometimes it's not their fault, but there are things that they can do, to insure lines don't come down. Thanks.

nanajanet Around here, when we had an ice storm, so many trees fell and took down power lines. There are still some tress, laying on lines. My idea would be NOT to put them near tall trees or cut down or top off, those trees. Just a matter of common sense, yes?

nanajanet A friend of a friend, who lives in California, said that he can buy guns, with full background check, and then go sell it to someone else, and it's legal. That's a secondary sale and that should not be allowed, in my humble opinion.
