I have a distinct feeling that if our refrigerator could speak it would utter one long and obnoxious buuuuuuuuuuuuurp. it is filled with things that are so facilitating of flatulence, such as onions, broccoli, cucumbers, cabbage, cheeses....

mine would be buuurping as well, not from onions, from all the half eaten easter eggs that are taking up 2 thirds of the fridge,i don't think there is room in there for healthy food.lol.cheers sue

I wish mine could talk, then it would yell "close the dang door, you are letting out all the cold air!" at my kids! LOL Mine is extremely clean right now, only because my hubby cleaned it this week. :O)

thats really funny and i agree with you about telling the kids to shut the door.good on your hubby for cleaning it out.well i just thrown out a weeks worth of penicillin, and a few empty bottles of soft drink.i sure my kids think they will get brain damage if they put the empty bottles in the garbage,so they go back in the fridge.lol.cheers sue

So did you get your fridge cleaned out? I am afraid mine would say the same thing. We are always in and out of the fridge just getting what we need out, we don't take time enough to really look at until we are really searching for something and then see all of the nastiness lurking about.

That was very funny (the penicillin part). lol I have to agree with you on that one. My fridge would definitely say "clean me now" and "please throw away last weeks leftovers and those ketchup bottles with a half of a squirt left". I do have problems finding things and yet I just keep stuffing it all in. I have a hard time throwing things away. I'm not saying I leave extremely rotting food in there but I have found a few questionable items buried in the back. I do tend to keep things that I think I "might" eat one day. I even keep things I don't like and don't plan on eating, as long as they are not expired. :)

yes i have a hard time throwing anything out as well,as i think i will use it up some day.those bottles with half a squirt in them are annoying,as well as my childrens half eaten lollies ,they are a real fridge pleaser.thanks for sharing, cheers sue

i hate cleaning out the fridge...i have this thing about leftovers so i tell my hubby if he wants to keep something i am making him throw it out if he doesn't eat it...he's got some things in there that have gotten pretty gross, but it's our mutual understanding that i will not deal with that nasty stuff!

cleaning the fridge must be one of my pet hates as well.the left overs in the fridge always get thrown out at my place,so i do not know why the kids put in them in the fridge anyway.it is a gross job, especially the penicillin covered treats.cheers sue

My fridge would be asking where all the chocolate is! I can't believe I have come home after a weekend away to find that the fridge is devoid of chocolate, so it's not happy and neither am I. It says if it doesn't see chocolate in the next few days it will report me to the RSPCF, (Royal Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Fridges!) so I better get some tomorrow. The fridge is certainly not happy and is having a temper tantrum right today!

wolfie you must come over here ,plenty of chocolate in our fridge, possibly 2 thirds full of the stuff, especially after easter.i am sure my fridge has put on a few cubic inches around the middle,i think i have as well.you must go out and buy some chocolate now so the fridge won't have a dummy spit.cheers sue

Well, mine would say..."Clean me... clean me... clean me..." and... "tell your daughter to stop opening me"... for sure it will give me a lecture about not putting too much leftover food inside... and another lecture about food getting wasted... Oh my... seems like my fridge is also a haven for junk... or unwanted food... i definitely need to throw a lot of things out...

my fridge is definately a haven for unwanted food.this week it is a haven for half eaten easter eggs and lollies.well i have just about finished the chucking out stage the fridge desperately needs,i will just go back and wipe it out,and await the onslaught of this weeks unwanted wasted food.cheers sue

My fridge would say, "just because you can't see that coke spilled under the crisper, doesn't mean you don't have to clean it up." I hate cleaning up spills that are now in one hardened mess. I only clean my fridge in parts, never the whole thing at once Since I don't have the patience. It stays halfway decent at least,,,, .whit

I think my fridge will complain about eating too much everyday. And it's so full. If possible, it will prefer to have a clean.

Mine too would say 'clean me'. It would also say, hurry up and finish that last meal that has been sitting in that box for the last who knows how many days (so would my freezer). I just can't seem to throw anything away. Plus all those lovely things that I buy and just can't seem to get round to cooking.....

those left overs are a treat, especially when you can not see the original colour they had.i put leftovers in the fridge, but my children would not even look at them.i also have put good food in the fridge with good intentions of cooking a grand feast ,but when i remember they have gone bad.cheers sue
