why is it not acceptable to sleep together on the first date?

Most guys who try to get it on the first date are looking for a fling not a meaningful relationship. It's up to you which you are looking for.

Personally I think this is a pretty old fashioned view on dating. I think it is up to the individual on whether they want to sleep with a guy on the first date or not. I think that yes there will be guys that will stop being interested in a girl if she has slept with him but I'm sure you could look at it the other way round and there will be girls who sleep on the first date and decide they don't want anything else.

I don't think it's acceptable because you really don't know each other that well and you don't know what type of guy he is. The guy could be a player and only in it to get a girl into bed. Or he could be really interested and if he's that guy then he wouldn't want to try and sleep with a woman on the first date.

It is not that sleeping on a first date is unacceptable, it depends one's belief and culture. In Philippine culture, most guys would think that if a girl sleeps with them on a first date, the girl is not the "girlfriend" material. Guys would tend to just play around with the girl and not get serious with them. Sad it may seem, but that's how guys perceived it.

Well something it is like that.....sleeping with a girl on the first date does not really matter...depend on the mood of the guy or girl...if u are in the mood u give it................ well if she put out on the first date does not really matter depending on the guy....but it is not good a for a guy to force a girl or leave her if she pull out on the first date..... i love my friends the first date she came to my house iw as in that mood in sleeping with her but wen she pull out i did not force her maybe she have a reason for that....so wat ur own opinion abt this?

it depends on the guy there are some guys who search one night stands and those guys who test you yo se if you fall from the very first date to me it matters..so i never sleep with a guy on 1st dates

it's up to you, there is nothing wrong if you sleep together even in your first date. depending on your motivates. if you agree one another meaning it is not against your will so there is no problem.
