i checked every discussion started by one of my friends here and have responded to each of them today.that number is 8. i find it economical on time part.i needn't to be troubled with choosing discussions, just click one's name and pick up his discussions interested me for responding. thus i can save more time and make more responses per day. my friends,do you respond to every discussion started by the same person? what's the reason?

Hi there. I myself would respond to more than one discussion of one person if it was interesting and I had that subject in my interests or else I don't know if i would. Catch ya later.

Hello dear sophialin. I am trying to, but not in a single day. One or two or more will be finished because I must take care of most of my friends' discussions a day. You know, when you are helping to respond to all of your friends' discussions, you are helping your own discussions to have more responses as well. Thanks.

I've had that happen to me a lot of times. Sometimes someone will just keep starting discussions that interest me one right after the other. After a couple I feel like I'm almost stalking them...

I don't response to every discussion started by the same person. Because I don't response to discussions that I don't know the answer.

I have never thought of doing that, but I would not want to stick to one person because I would miss out on interesting discussions by my other friends and by people who are not on my friends list. I like to find discussions by people I have not responded to before.

I only respond if I have anything that I feel is of value to the discussion. Sometimes, yes, I post to everything a friend posted that day...sometimes no. One post could be about parenting (something I know about) and their next post a specific question about hang-gliding (no clue except I know what it is). I read every single discussion started by each of my friends every day, but no, I do not respond to every one and I do not choose just one friend to respond to.

I don't really aim to respond to all the discussions started by a particular person, but it sometimes seems that way. A lot of people on my friends list don't start discussions, but a lot of them start a lot of interesting discussions that I can't resist answering. So, I tend to answer a lot by the same person. But, I choose based on my interests and whether or not I have a sufficient amount to say on the subject.

I have so many friends that I will probably respond to only one or two discussions from each one. My time is very limited, and I really want to support all of my friends. Also, sometimes the discussion is not something I can respond to. For instance, I am no help to you when you ask about blogs, so I do not answer you in those discussions.

Whenever I happen to participate on a discussion, I tend to go to the profile of the one who started that discussions and see if I might find other discussions that may interests me. I don't really go to all their discussions. I just see what interests me more and then I'd go and participate in them as well.. I mostly get friends that way here in this site and I agree on it being easier than to do manual searches of discussions. Then again, it can also work that way, I'd go and search a discussion, find something intersting, participate and go the their profiles and see what other discussiosn I can participate in

I do this sometimes, it is to show interest and to save time! You are correct, it is easier to follow then to keep searching for other discussions.

I reply to discussions based on the topic and whether I have anything to say rather than the person that posted it. I rarely notice who has posted the discussion, but I do notice if they have spammed my friends page, not that it bothers me as long as there is something there that I can reply to.

I always check out on the discussions posted by my friends but I only answer on those topics that I believe I have something worthy to share, otherwise, I skip and go to topics from other sources. Actually, I believe it is not how many have you posted but it is based on the quality of the things you posted. This is just my opinion, thanks!

Yes it seems easier to do that. But then of course not all of the discussions have relevance to me, so I will skip the ones I do not like. But I like to go to the discussions with no responses, it seems so sad when there is none.

Since I have a few very good friends here. Sometimes when I can't find good discussions to reply, I will try to check all of their discussions and select some of them to reply.

I don't have this practice of answering all the discussions from my friend or a particular member. I usually respond if the subject interests me and I have something in return to share. I do track a number of my friends here to know what discussions they have initiated, so in a way, because I have visibility and awareness of their discussions, they get some kind of priority from me in answering posts. But that does not mean that I will answer their every discussion because some of them are in subjects I am not familiar with.

I have never done that. I take time to pick or choose nice or interesting topics and then respond to it. I want to answer to all of my friends discussions that I choose at least one topic from each of them. But I think you have a point there. You can save time by answering all discussions by the same person because there'e no need to choose topics anymore. Then you can respond to more topics. Hmmmm...I'll try that one time.

Yes, i check every discussion started by one of my friends but only respond to the ones i'm interested in. You are right that it is very easy but i'm a curious person if i have enough time i will check out other discussions of my interest too.
