I haven't used Avon in years mainly because I haven't had a rep that 'stuck with it'. Years back I had a good friend who sold it and we worked a deal - I got my products at cost and babysat her kids while she went out doing her 'route' it worked out great for both of us.
I have another friend who sold Avon for 10 or more years but she doesn't anymore - not sure why she stopped except it was a lot of work.

LOL - our messages are crossing each other on the internet :) I already responded to your message with a couple questions but if we could work it out you know I would love for you to be my rep :)

I have thought about selling Avon but we live in the vcountry and I do not get and go many places at all, hardly ever, really. I do not know people around here to sell it to and it would be a waste of my time to try. I am not good at things liek that.

We have Avon in the UK and my mum reguarly buys stuff off Avon and she is very pleased with the rep who comes round, the rep is friendly and warm and that makes a great difference, mum has always used Avon for herself and buys things for her sister from it. I guess you have to be good with people, cheerful disposition and enjoy what you do, I think you would excel in all of these princess so you'd be ideal, good luck xxx

Oh yes we have Avon here in the UK - in fact when I was in college I used to be a rep myself! I think a lot of Avon products are really quite good! I did have a rep myself until recently but she has moved away now! I am not in a position to sell the products again but I did enjoy it when I did do it! xxx

Avon does sell itself. And a lot of people don't know that Avon is no longer just perfume and makeup. We have clothes, shoes, jewelry, and even kichen stuff, bras, and lots of amazing skin care, Anew is the best. And the best part is Avon is cheap.

I sell Avon, too. I loved doing it, but it took a back burner while building our house and now I will likely have to rebuild my business from scratch- I let many of my customers go and I am almost an hour from where most of them were.
I made very good money when I was doing it on a regular basis...but it was pretty much a full time job to make that kind of money! And it isn't really your own hours...alot of times it is on your customers schedule...not yours.
They do have Avon worldwide.
Good luck- and HAVE FUN!!! :)

99% of my customers do not care to shop via the site. I would venture that half of them didn't even use computers. I simply did not have time to give personal service or to get my books out. I never would have dreamed how all-consuming building a house would become!
I have been with Avon for a couple of years now, it will all be fine... :)

my mother sold it for a few years in my youth - she was such a natural sales person - as people have always seemed to be drawn to her... much unlike myself!
I like some of the products but do not use make up or wear the jewelry - so.....
I like some of the moisturizers and lip balms, I like some of the scents like candid and for the children I like sweet honesty and wild country

I love Avon! Do you have a seperate job besides Avon? because if you do, then you could spread the word around there. Do you live in building? If so, create flyers and post them so that people can know that they have someone in the buiding who sells Avon. Do you have children? If so, do they ever have craft shows where people sell different items? You can buy a table and set your Avon there and if you sell any, both you and the school makes money. Hope I helped!

I love Avon!!!! I am an Avon Ind. Sales Rep. So of course I would sell it. LOL I know that they have Avon in the Phillipines. I believe jeaniemay is from the Phillipines. I know she is a rep though, and has great tips.
Any place that has waiting rooms is a great place to leave books. Leave more than one book though, because if they can take one home and look they are more likely to purchase more. Also, it is always cheaper to buy 100 books. 10 books run you $5.75 which is $.57 a book but you can get 100 books for $19.00 which is only $.19 a book. I will drop in later and comment. Have to go for now. If you have any questions just pm me if you want.

I like Avon talcum ....I get it from my mums rep....but id never sell Avon myself....i think you have to be fairly tough to keep going and knocking for the books etc..
though i agree its a good product...slightly on the dear side though..
Mums rep does miles and miles of walking....and i dont think the reward is very good...but i know she really enjoys meeting her customers....good luck

Avon is great.
Depending on where you live, have you thought about visiting offices and factories?
I have found several companies that have been interested in me dropping Avon brochure/s with the receptionist and once you develop a relationship, they become really helpful.
I also Network a range of Aloe Vera products, which again is a good way of boosting revenue from people you already have a relationship with. I have a team that are making additional revenue just by giving existing customers an additional brochure for a different range.
We are all running our own business, so why not retail different products to your existing customer base?

Hi MS,
Welcome to Avon. I'm new myself to being an Avon Rep. I didn't think it was going to be hard to get customers. What's your secret? I've done business cards, fliers, magnets, free gift with purchase. But no one really bites the line. I have my E-Store as well. And Trying to get my family from out of state to purchased from me. Do you have your own business cards? I can recommend the company I use, and they give you great discounts. Just recently they had a huge sale and I received over $150 worth of products for only $20 s/h. Let me know. And good luck with Avon.

I am an new Avon rep on the way to UL! I had recruits come to me!! They saw how successful I've been so far and how I can make the most of my time homeschooling a 9 yr old who travels all over the country for competitions! As for sales, I am working on a webpage for my team with ideas that have worked for me. We could also brainstorm on here or maybe start a new topic/subject for avon brainstorming. Anyone interested let me know!
Good luck everyone and let me know if you'd like some files/ideas that I have been successfully using!
