Yesterday is my mom's bithday ,I bought her a pair of fancy shoes. And it turned out that she was so touched since I still remember her birthday although I have hard work to take.
Actually, I was deeply touched because this little thing could make my mom so happy, even better than I earned a great amount of money.
And now, I just wanna tell you that please do remember your parents' birthday since that's the only thing which can make them really happy!

Of course I do. I never forget any any birthday in the family especially my parents. I really take time to buy them presents and make a little celebration for them. It's my way of thanking them for all the good things they have done for me and to show them how much I love them.

I can totally understand your mom, since my grandmother ask us to do the same.
Well,I think we should do what they really want us us to do,so maybe not acknowledging her birthday is the best for her!

Of course, I do not forget the birthdays of my beloved parents. During the birthday we usually celebrate it with our family together. We will prepare foods which are their favorite. We normally will buy them a present which could please them very much. They will feel happy with whatever present we give them.

I remember my moms birthday but I feel sad to tell her every year happy birthday due to my stepfather dying so close to her birthday and his wake ended up being the day of her birthday. So every year I know she is very sad during that time but I always make sure that I do something special for her since my stepfather is no longer there to make it special to her. She enjoys it every year and I do too.

I do. In fact, I remember just about my entire family's birthdays! lol
We don't usually spend a lot on birthdays. Mostly what we do it take the birthday person to dinner or make them a nice dinner - their choice. My Dad always wanted me to make him a lemon cake or pie. Everyone has their favorite thing to eat. Plus, everyone sings to the birthday person. We just have dinner, sit and talk and just enjoy being together. I lost my Dad in 2004, but I still wish him a happy birthday each year.
That was really nice of you and I know your Mom appreciate it. :)

I remember dad and mum's birthdays well. It is a great way to show children's gratitude and care especially for the people with conservative tradition. For a Chinese, it is rare to say thanks to his or her parents. Hence, to celebrate their birthday is another way to say thank you. No matter how long away from home, I will return to gather together with my family on that days.

It's very easy for me to remember my parent's birthdays. My mom's birthday is the last four digits of my social security number and my dad's birthday is the same as my youngest's birthday. When I had her I told him happy birthday, you have a granddaughter! He loves the fact that they share their birthday.

Of course I remember my parents birthdays. I also know my step-parents birthdays, and that of my sister and brother-in-law. I got married last September, so I know my husband's birthday as well, and they all know when my birthday is.
