Did you enjoy Hollidays or do you spend the most of them cooking!

Do You prepare food for the holliday the night before or do you spend most of the day making sure it is right out of the oven. It seems like I am spending most of my time cooking and am so tired it is hard to enjoy the day. Of course I enjoy serving a meal that will make them all happy. I guess that is my biggest pleasure of the day. How about you?

I prepare the foods that can be prepared the night before. I hate to be cooking when I have company. It does make you feel good to serve your family and everyone is happy.

well this year was the first year i had cooked for so many people. last year i cooked for just my husband and kids and with everyone so picky it was bad. this year i had to cook for 10 people and made lot of pies and cakes.
i did what ever i could the day before so on easter all i had to do was put the ham in and heat things up oh and peeled potatos. so it wasn't bad but and there was enough people here that it didn't take long cleaning up either.
