sometime i feel upset of this unending text scam. i usually ignore this messages but i am unlimited i will send malicious reply to them. my friend was a victim of them...asking loads and so many favors...they are evil...i don't knnow if they will stop scamming people but is is their business to lie and to victimized people. beware of this messages. don't believe immediately. instead ask assistance to authority before you ttransact business to them.

i think it was difficult in the philippines to do that unless the telephone company will change it, our cellphne in korea have a registration and our bills is monthly unlike in philippines that thru sim card..and if your cellphne will snotch they will only change the sim card right? but here in korea if your cellphone was lost nobody can used it,,coz the telecom will know it was a lost items..

Hey, I also received this text message. Who would have known there are a lot of us here who received the same message...
I knew this was a scam the second I'd laid my eyes on it. First, I haven't joined anything. And second, I don't have any luck with winning anything at all. Never had. And now I don't bother trying out with raffles and stuff.
I wondered why of all things the scammers used, it's the name of a charity foundation? Didn't they have hearts?

If you have recieved a message like that again, look for the cel number and if you see its the 11 digit like what you put in this discussion its 100 percent scam, buit if you see 3 or 4 digits then its true, and go to the nearest service provider in your area and verify the authenticity of the message.

I have this one & many others. They are all a lot of rubbish. How can these people think that we are fooled into believing we have won a lottery in a country that is a million miles away.
I dont think most of these scammers are caught.

Hello Jemina, that is what it is called "check cashing scam". "They" say you won some money from a contest you never entered or they need you to "help" some person you don't know get the money. Basically it's always the same story every time: please let me send you the check, cash the check then send (most) of the money back to me. Since it's an international check it takes a few weeks to find out that it's fake, then YOU are stuck with the responsibility to pay for the bounced check in full

Hello Jemina. I have never received that kind of text message from Phil.Charity Foundation. But I did receive a text message two weeks ago from an unregistered number, telling me to call back or much better, send that number a P150 cellphone load. The message said that it's very, very urgent that I send that load because the sender has something very important to tell me. And that I have to send the load immediately because the sender has only P1 load left.
Instead of getting angry, I laughed so hard. You know why? Because my cellphone has only P5 load left and that sender was urging me to send them an amount way larger than what my cellphone has!

What should I say to that person then? Thick-face! Who does s/he think s/he is fooling? At least s/he should have told her/his name or just give an idea what s/he had to say. You can tell right away what these people are up to.
By the way, one time I received AllText10--something like that--on my eloading phone. I traced the number where it came from and said that they made a mistake by sending me the eload. The sender pleaded for me to send it back so I did. Humirit pa..S/he asked me to send it to their customer's number instead. I didn't give in anymore. I already sent back 10 pesos to them.

I also received this kind of message before and I just deleted it immediately. I did not bother reply to it otherwise the persond who send this would assume that you are interested. It just annoys me that I am getting these trash on my inbox. It is sad that some Filipinos are being lured to this kind of scams because of being desperate to have money. During this time we should be careful providing information especially on text messages.

I guess all of us received something like that at one point in time. The reason for these is that SIM Cards are way too cheap now, so scammers easily can just change numbers. Bad side is that numbers do get recycled when it expired, so I feel pity to the new owner of the number if the number was used for a scam before.

I received something like that as well, I don't bother making a reply to it since I already knew they were text scams..
One time, I relied to them and even told them where their address was or the meeting place is gonna be held. told them that I was a cop, but didn't received any reply at all. I guess they were just looking for gullible individuals who would bite their modus', they can fool others but not me!
I would hold a feast, if ever one of them gets caught..

I know it sounded too good to be true so I didn't reply either. Instead I searched for the keywords Philippine Charity Foundation and there I found about this hoax.
I have something in mind though, I'll play with the sender using a bogus chikka id and spam him or her everyday as I have nothing to do anyway. LOL!

here is my take on text spams or any spams for that matter, don't just mind them. it is like watching tv having all those commercials. we simply don't mind them. this is a test of our selectivity on things that matters and what does not matter.

That's a good one. I didn't really care for the text as it was my first time to get any text spams but I was just surprised that it was already posted in the so called "Official Website of The Republic of the Philippines" but still our government isn't capable of doing anything against it. What a shame!

I received 3 times text last year telling me that I have won from a certain lottery. The same thing happened to some of my relatives. I was not able to help myself from refraining to reply. I got to reply that my brains is still connected to my head. I said 'I will call you atty. once I lost my brains and attained the IQ of a mongoloid.'

So far it's my first time to get any of those since I just got back to the Philippines after more than 6 years in Thailand. The funny thing is I got the text when I left the country again and I didn't want to spend money texting them from my local phone as it would cost about 10 pence. NO way! Well, I've got some plans though. I'll keep you posted about it.
