BB needs more interesting characters next season

I was just thinking about past seasons of BB. My favorite characters were Dr. Will and Boogie b/c they lied to everyone, told everyone they were liars, and yet they both won! Plus, I thought they were hilarious doing it, especially during All Stars. When they would convince people to do things that totally helped them and totally screwed over other people, it was just classic.
I think BB needs more interesting people like this on the show. Perhaps Will and Boogie were so fun b/c they didn't NEED the money, they both had good jobs. They just had fun personalities. I feel like this season of BB the characters have gone down hill and it's more like Paradise Hotel since they are all fighting, backstabbing, and being nasty.
Are the people this season younger than usual? I guess as I think back a lot of the people from the past were a bit older. Maybe I'm just not a fan of this younger, sl*ttier crowd. What do you guys think? Are these people just as good in your eyes as past seasons? Or do you agree that they need better characters next year?

Well, as much as I can't stand Natalie...I do have fun watching her make a butt out of herself every day.
But, yea...this cast is pretty bad this year. None of them really know how to play the game.
I liked Dr. Will because he was charismatic and he had a knack for getting his way by blatant out and and out manipulation.
I just feel like this new crowd came in with preconceived notions on how to win the game based on what ED did last year. Others have tried to be Dr. Will. The thing is, there is no specific formula as each group is different. One group tolerated ED while another would have had him out in the first week. One group fell for Dr. Will (ok...two groups) while another one or two groups would have had the intelligence to see right through him.
So, it is hard to say if BB dropped the ball this season with the current set of hgs. Despite their lack luster knowledge of how to win the game, I am still enjoying this season. I love to hate the ones that I hate and love to love the ones that I love and hate to see the ones that I love walk out the door as much as I love to watch the ones I hate walk out the door.

Natalie is one of the more quirky people this season, but most of them are pretty BLAH. Yep Dr. Will was great at manipulation! I just loved how he would tell everyone "i will lie all the time to win this" then when he lied, they still trusted him! Haha.
Yep each group is different. You can't try to win based on how someone else won b/c people react differently depending on the dynamics of the house.
I still like to watch this season but I'm just bored with the characters. None of them are really funny (besides laughing at Nat for her dumbness). There's no one that gets me real excited this season as there has been in almost every other season.

I can see where you are coming from. There aren't that many great and strong personalities this season.
Perhaps the summer season (10) will be better since they have until June or July to get their acts together with a great batch of people.
They did sort of throw 9 together really quickly because of the strike.

I agree. I lost interest in this group very quickly and quit watching after the first couple of weeks. I know that, due to the writers strike, this season was kinda rushed into production and you really have to wonder if they took the time to choose the contestants. Hoping the Summer season will be better

I'm still watching but I have no favorites and no least favorites. Even though ppl annoyed me or impressed me, it hasn't stuck with me long! I miss the humor of previous seasons.
So there is gonna be a Summer season still? That brings me hope! Maybe this winter season just has a lame "backup" cast while we wait for the summer.

I would definetely have to agree also. The group is much younger and there's not as much happening this season. It's a pretty dull and boring group. There were a few arguments earlier in the season, which added drama, but most of it is just moaning and groaning. Maybe they will have a more diverse and energetic group next season, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I definately agree with your statements. I liked Dr. Will and sometimes Boogie. They are classic characters. I also believe it seems like younger group. Or at least it used to be more diverse and different age groups. I'm hoping this summer ( I keep hearing that there will be one. Fingers crossed.) will be different. I've watched this season but last season I stopped watching (for the first time since I started watching) because of ed. I hope they get a better mix. Not all of the beautiful people.

They gotta bring those two guys back again :-D And not just for a cheesey competition but to like move in for a week and stir things up :)
I would like to see more different age groups again next year. Someone said they threw this show together real quick to just get it on the air and perhaps didn't even think too hard about who to pick.
I keep hearing there will be a summer one and I sure hope so too! I need something to make up for this season.

It seems like BB picked a strange group but there just isnt anyone to root for they all are BAD. They need more fun less bible thumping wanna bes.

I hope they get interesting people that I'm not interested in so that I don't watch it!
I think this season was younger because they were trying to find single people. So I guess they thought younger would be better for love connections.
I just want to stop watching BB.

Yep they wanted love connections, but instead started a bunch of other types of connections that really had nothing to do with Love! I know older people who are single, but you are probably right that they wanted a younger crowd. Probably making them all the same ages was so that they could create tension in the house if some people liked someone other than their partner.

BB was good when it started but now the contestants know if they play up to the camera they can make a lot of money when they get out. I dont like this and find a lot of it quite fake. Especially with the woman who use it to try and get them selfs plastered on every magazine possible.

Dr. Will was my favorite of all time. Both in the second and All stars show. This year is BORING! I don't care who wins or gets kicked out at all. Whatever. I stopped watching and only check out the recaps online. It is like dating and stuff and messing around. I mean yuck. Too many spins from BB that the players do need to do any planning. Plus I think they are fixing it to keep certain players in the house. SUCKS I am too the point either bring will back or end the stupid thing all together.

I still watch it b/c I MUST! But I am also bored with it. This is the first season where spoilers just don't even bother me b/c I'm not super excited to watch the show.
There have been other interesting people on all the other seasons besides Dr. Will so I'm sure BB can produce a fresh cast of better houseguests next time. I just hope they learn from this!
