I love to thrift store shop. For years, my hubby complained that I could stay in one for hours at a time. Now, he comes in too, and it's seldom that he is done shopping before me...lols It's fun to be able to buy a "new" outfit each month, no matter how small my paycheck is. It gives me something to look forward to each and every month. And I get some awesome deals too, especially on Sundays, when everything is half price.

I was at a thrift shop today and bought a purse for $1.50 and a scarf for a $1. There was so much more I didn't get to see but the place was closing in ten minutes. I will go back again neck week. Other than thrift stores I like to shop at Forever 21, H&M, Zara, Target and Walmart. Those stores sell things around my low budget.

I love thrift stores too. I see them as a place to go treasure hunting because you never know what you will find. And thrift stores are about the only place that I can almost afford to shop so its a win win situation all around for me!

I like the garden senter the best. And furniture stores. But I do not buy much at stores like that though - I like to walk around there for a long time even if I just need something small

do I have to pick just one? I like the dollar tree and family dollar. Family dollar have really cute clothes for little kids and sometimes I find some for myself for a really cheap price. Dollar tree have good things in them sometimes also. Once they had yogos when at walmart they cost $2 something a box for only a $1 it was a really good deal since my daughter always ate them whenever we were on the go. Thats great that you can get an outfit every month its always good to have something to look forward to. It keeps you going. My mom is good at finding some good things at the thrift stores but I don't care for digging like she does. She found my daughter some really cute nightgowns to play dress up with and she thinks she a princess and at $2 each can't beat that.

hi queenrainbow! i love going to thrift stores too! the clothes are cheaper and they got lots of kinds of styles too. i can choose from different kinds of styles and that's what i really like. they would have some old styles that i would like to wear again and they would have new styles too which i would like to try. and the best thing is, the clothes are cheaper than the ones in the department stores! i also like going to gift and accessories shops. i love buying lots of cute stuffs like key chains, bracelets, cellphone straps, purse, etc. i also visit anime stores to buy stickers and other stuffs of my favorite animes.

Your discussion has brought back pleasant memories, QueenRainbow, of the fun my daughters used to have on our thrift store shopping excursions. I found many "treasures" on those jaunts, some of which I still hang onto. I would have to agree that a shopping trip to the thrift store is a lot of fun.

I used to shop at Ross for all my clothes, but there isn't one where I live now. I've found a great thrift shop where I shop every 1 to 2 weeks. The selection is wonderful, and everything looks new, so no one knows. There's also a bargain room where all clothes and shoes are 50 cents each. Can't beat that!

Our thrift shops around here have very low quality clothing. It looks so worn out. I try to give far better clothing when I donate, or don't bother. I do like to go to thrift shops and look for knick knacks, lamps and household stuff. I like to shop at Macy's, Kohl's, Target, JCPenney and even the Big W for clothes on sale and household. I browse through EBay too and Coldwater Creek stuff can be a real bargain there sometimes. For furniture, we do have some good consignment shops with very nice items.

Yard sales are my thing. Now that spring is here I am starting to see more of them. You can find some great stuff cheap at those things. As far as stores I would have to say book stores are my favorite.

I like to shop at Home Outfitters. That is where you get all those cool gadgets, knife sets, pots and pans (the kind you see used by Rachel Ray, Bobbie Fley, Gianna, and the others that appear on Kitchen Stadium that is situated in another dimension). You can also pick up bedding, sheets, towels, etc. It is a little expensive. The next favorites are Future Shop, Best Buy Ca, and Staples. I seldom go to thrift shops unless to pick up something that is not available elsewhere and you can get binders there cheap.

I love thrift shops too. without them i'd be naked or at best very raggedy. It does take a lot of time to paw threw all the things that you don't want but in the end I can walk out of there with new jeans and tops and maybe somethings for my daughter and still not break my budget.

I love shopping to thrift stores too. In fact, most of my outfits are from there, and all of them are branded ones. And I have a collection of branded, slightly used shoes too,it's just fun seeing them all in a shoe rack. I get awesome prices for books too, they're just 10cents and some are 25cents. Glad you enjoy it too! ain't it fun? Sometimes I shop on ebay too since the brands I want is not in any stores around my place.
