How do you go about paying your bills? Do you do it always on a certain day of the month? Do you separate them so that some are paid on the first and others midway through? Or are you so good as to pay them as they come in?
I got in the habit of paying the bills twice a month - after many years of receiving a twice a month paycheck, I still organize payment this way - most of the time. Sometimes I will pay before a bill comes in, and after having already made my monthly payment to it - this is when I make a charge instead of using cash (in order to get the cashback incentive) and then coming home and paying off the amount just charged... this is one way that having internet banking is really helpful.

I mark my bills on the calendar when they are due. Then each week I look at what is coming up due and pay them in order. I almost always pay them before the due date, but occasionally when something comes up- like car trouble last week, something is put off for a few days.

I've always paid my bills depending on my pay-period. If I got paid weekly then I would pay whatever smaller bill was due first and save the rest towards larger payments such as the house until it was due or I had enough in reservers.
I always liked getting paid every 2 weeks more because I had larger sums coming at one time so could plan which bills would come out of which pay check.

We pay almost everything by direct debit, scheduling them to go out a couple of days after payday so that virtually everything is going out automatically. We know then that about a week after payday, the money still in the bank is really 'ours' not for teh bills, then we pay anything else that needs individual payment like groceries, petrol and the credit card. We're usually broke then so can't spend anything for about three weeks til its payday again, but at least we can't get behind that way.

Actually now i do not have to pay bill as I am living with parents. but i had to spend some on monthly basis. i do this at the end of the month or rather at start of new month after i get my pay. Also i had to pay rent and all when i was staying away for the job once in a month.

Most are set up on an autopay schedule, but for those which are not, I pay them as they come in. I know people who wait until the last minute to get every penny of interest, but I don't like to take a chance on being late. I keep the numbers up to date on a daily basis, too, as I hate surprises.

I used to get paid twice a month so I split up the bills to pay on a schedule to accommodate the paydays.
We're on a fixed income the first of the month now so I pay them all as soon as I know the amounts due so I know how much I have for the rest of the month.

We pay our bills when they are due but based on the current pay check. So hubby gets paid on the last day of the money out of that will be bills between the 1st & 15th. However, I am going to change that soon so more bills come out of the 15th paycheck.

We pay a certain bill each week. I write in on the calendar when it is due and what we we are going to pay it. This works out much better for us because we can also do shopping weekly for necessities and groceries. It also gives us a little extra money to spend on something we want/need at any time throughout the month.
