yes,i will also smile at the stranger that smiled to me,smile is universal,if the stranger smiles to you,maybe he will make you happy;and if you smile to him,you may also make him happy.what a great thing!why not do it?

I try to smile at everyone I see (I think it just makes others feel good!), so I definately smile back at anyone who smiles at me!

That'll happen to me pretty often. It's just, what I like to call, a "nervous smile." You don't know why you're smiling, but you just do.

I always smile at someone who smiles at me... but then... some people... especially men have weird ways of interpreting such smiles... and i end up giving them the sarcastic look... but that sort of thing doesn't stop me from doing the smiling or the sharing of a happy day to everyone around me...

I do sometimes, if I'm sure the person is smiling at me... If the person gives a friendly smile, and I see it, I'd probably give one back, but if their smile looks kind of strange, I'd probably just continue on my way.

I do but sometimes I'm hesitant to smile back just for the reason that they are strangers. Who knows what they might be thinking that made them smile, the smile might not be even for me so it's quite embarassing But most of the time I do specially with kids and babies who stare and smile, it's hard not to smile when you look at their faces so cute and innocent

just like music, smile is universal too. yes i do smile at strangers, especially children whom i see in malls and on the road. it is indeed a great feeling. in fact, our main motive of life is to be happy, and make others happy....and a smile aptly succeeds in accomplishing both these tasks!

definitely! Whenever someone smiles at me I'll just smile back, even though I don’t know who that person is. I think it's great to smile at people, it makes the world a much beautiful and happier place to be in. smile and the world smiles with you ;)

Yeah, definitely. Even though I don't know them I still smile. I have a bad memory when it comes to names so whenever someone smiles at me, I just smile back. Sometimes, I know them. So after the smile, they come closer to make small talk, I just pretend to know them. The line "look at you, you've lost some weight, haven't you?" never fails. There are some people that I don't smile back to though. The lecherous looking perverts. They creep me out. I'm an easily creeped out individual.
