My boyfriend' s fart ! Right in front of me!!

Your post really brought a smile to my face. Though I am sorry to hear about your troubles. I imagine that you look like this when you boyfriend does this to you. My husband does let them rip in front of me as well, however he does apologise if it is a bit strong on the nose. Lucky for me I have had the opportunity to retaliate on occasion, though I don't often publicly admit to it! You need to go and have a big dinner of baked beans, cabbage and eggs and then you will be able to make your boyfriend envious with the sounds and smells you will omit

My husband used to do that to me but not in front of me or he knows he'd not be alive but he still did it in the same room as I was and it stunk me out of there too. I've raised hell about it for so long that I've finally gotten through to him that I don't like it and will not tolerate it one bit and that I don't think it's in the least bit funny. Now he goes in the other room and shuts the door and does his thing and he knows he better turn on a fan and open a window or else catch some more hell from me. We call those silent but deadly! He cannot stop farting even if he wanted to, but he could go to the bathroom or walk away from you! Yes, I have heard of this happening! It is a lot of fun for some people.

Of course! To be honest, I sometimes do this to him too, we're very open and comfortable with each other. We both would normally take the piss if one does it, but I'll never do this in front of other people!!

Oh please, for a start everyone farts...dont pretend you dont. My boyfriend is constantly doing it, albeit i find it horrible that he is so proud of it but hey what can you do, that is a trait in men that most women will never understand. He seems to think its some kind of show of masculinity to fart and laugh about it. Aslong as hes not hurting anyone i leave his childish mind to it.

Well if two live together , it can't be avoid especially in scientific man farts more than woman . Of course when we are in relationship , we should try to avoid farting in front of our girlfriend or boyfriend yea but when married we should learn to understand each another yea .

I think it American society is poor taste for a man to fart in front of a woman, until she first farts in front of him. Then it is fair game for all. lol Afterall it is a natural body function, that serves a valid purpose, but I still will try to avoid farting in public and in front of women I am in relationships with, I don't want to make them smell stinky stuff. That being said, I can see why your boyfriend does it, and thinks your reaction is so funny... it get's a reaction out of you. If you pretended to like it, he would probably stop doing it altogether.

Everyone farts. I'm one of those people that when someone farts, i laugh. inless in was RIGHT in my face then i get pissed. but if they just sitting next to me and fart. its whatever just it just depends on the people. if you know the other person doesn't like then you should respect them and move or leave the room while they do it.

when you live with someone for a while it is only a matter of time before they become really comfortable to fart in front of you. We all do it and it is only natural of course but like if it bothers you perhaps you should ask him to leave the room or something. I know sometimes it can be from the things we consume and if it is healthy usually there is not a bad smell. Well I am not an expert but like I said if it is too much the option of leaving the room is there and is always there like the farts may never leave him. LOL

Yes, he does. But I don't really care, its not a huge deal. Everyone does it, and I love him regardless.

How can you be in a relationship with someone and not be comfortable enough to do that in front of them? It's a natural, bodily function! I'm not saying go out and about to make an effort to fart around a loved one, but if it happens, what's the big deal? Your partner should love you through thick, thin, good, bad and smelly! Seriously, what's the big deal?

Its depends how close you are! I am very confortable to fart infront of my husband..lol..when I cant hold it anymore..He also use to but luckily everytime we do it..No smell..lol.....

I think what your boyfriend is doing is merely practical joking on the side. There are times when I have seen this happen with my school mates who are in a relationship. Especially when they want to tell the other partner that they are "brain fart" or "you talk like farting" [fang pi] in your language. Sometimes I do that too, to ease tension to a group discussion. Shhh.....listen I need to say something here. Then, there goes my biological "butane" cannister ...ha ha ha.

To begin with people fart as it is a natural bodyfunction much as you may not like it both genders do it. And how can a fart be silent or smelless if you are a human being it is going to make a sound and is likely to smellthat is something you have no control over. Now it wouldbe nicer if your boyfriend would go into another room since you are so super sensitive over this.I had this happen to me when I was workint in the library with a bunch of people sitting not far from where I was shelving book. I let out a fart and was horribly embarrassed as all the dumb oxenjust sat there and laughed at me. I could not help it at all it just happen. It would not have hurt these idiots who laughed at me to keep their darned mouths shut and feel for my embarrassment.do you really think people do this on purpose if so you are really wrong.

I feel for you, my husband farts in front of me all the time, and he thinks its funny. I don't think it is, it stinks...he just tells me to start fighting back then, but I don't know how to fart, so I can't..lol. He can't believe that I don't know how, I told him only in the bathroom I can...haha. Then even in bed he will do it, then he'll fan the covers so I can smell it, its awful. I've threatened to sleep in the other room if he didn't quit doing that. But I believe thats just how guy's minds work, they think stuff like that is funny. Even my brother used to fart in front of me, before I was married, he just laughed about it too. That just shows how different guys and LADIES are. But theres nothing you can do about it, just don't feed him gasie foods before bedtime..lol.
