Who is the most powerful female in the world of anime?

The female that is most powerful that I can think of is Tsunade of Naruto. The fifth Hokkage of Konoha. Previously known as one the legendary 3 ninja.
Then it would be followed by Rykia. One of the member of Team 13th. No sign of her obtaining Bankai, but still, a very powerful Shinigami in her own way.
Who do you think is your most powerful female in the world of anime? Heh :)

Haruhi Suzumiya. I mean she is "god" after all...
Other than that, Belldandy(1st class Goddess), Hannyu("god"-type character), Moka(S-level Demon/Vampire), Ayako (Beatrice Witch/goddess, greater than Superman), Iczer-1(Equal or greater than Superman), Ren(becomes a world threatening computer virus that can kill many), are all others I can think of at the moment.

Well, I do agree that anime with god settings like "Oh My Goddess" does seems powerful. Well, in a sense that if coming to a combat, I do think that the scenario may be hard to imagine. Heh. Thanks for the response.

Tsunade is cool, but her power has some very serious limits, and she is technically mortal. So pretty much any immortal/deity character would probably be classified as more powerful than her.
My first thought here were the various Goddesses I've seen in anime, such as Belldandy.
Ack, it's too early. I'll have to think of more later.

Yes, I fully agrees that Tsunade does have some limitation in her special medical based ninjitsu. COme to think of it, perhaps good based anime like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Oh My Goddess's Belldandy. I would prefer Belldandy, apart from being a goddess, she is so lovable. Well i don't know much about anime, but i like it. My favourite anime is Chobits, and Chii is the most cute and powerfull i think :) *lol*

Yes, Chobits is cute. The world of anime is so interesting if you agree with me. Thanks for your sharing. Sometimes even cute characters are powerful in their own way, depending how you see it. I feel that Matsumoto of Bleach is powerful in her own way. :P
