From what I have watched, my two favourites definitely have to be Volcano and The Day After Tomorrow. They are quite worrying to watch, as they give you a sense of 'What If?@
I' don't even own them on DVD or HS, they are very often on TV!
Any others you could recommend me to watch?

Definitely Titanic, that is my favourite disaster film and probably the ONLY film that I have cried through, no matter how many times I watch it, probably because it's based on a true story, all those poor people waiting to die and trapped, horrific! I have lost count the amount of times I have seen it, the latest one with Leonardo Di Caprio is the best because I know they have made a few versions of it.

I kind of forgot about Titanic because it's not something I would straight away associate with natural disasters. But you are right, it does fit in that title and its a really great movie! It has grown my fear of traveling on cruises though.

The day after tommorow is my favourite movie too. I love to watch natural disaster films because of the same reason as you do. There was a serie about natural disasters on Discovery channel, it handled the question what if....
Have you seen Twister?
