Have you ever listened to the radio or anywhere else and you heard a song that saying exactly how you feel?
There were times that I feel a song say exactly how I feel especially when Im in love or in a break-up or hurt. I cry when I hear the song and really feel what the lyrics is saying and try to sing with it. It also happens when Im also happy and in love. Its like the lyrics saying what I feel and sometimes you just want to sing and dedicate that song to yoru loved one. A lot of songs have been like that to me. Any song that have touched you so much?

yes it happens to me many times & we generally tend to listen to songs which suit our mood. I had a break up with my bf & i was listening to the radio & immediately i heard this song "it must have been love"
& i was completely shattered.

That's a very beautiful song! I first heard that on the movie Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. It was played on the part where she decided to leave him after working for him for about a week. But by that time she was in love with him already. Have you seen that movie? I loved that movie!

this happens to me a lot...it is the strangest when the song will come on randomly on the radio or i will hear it on the music at a store while shopping!! i listen to a lot of different music, so i've found quite a few that fit my mood perfectly. if i can't find one, i will write one, though i haven;'t had anytime at all to write music these days!

I feel the same way too, sometimes! Some songs do have lyrics that relate to our experiences every now and then. When I hear songs that relate to me, I can't help but stop whatever I'm doing to listen to that particular song. Have you heard the song "for all of my life"? It was first sung by a group named For Real. I love this song and it's meant for this one true love of my life.

Yes I believe that the reason we feel for the song is we can relate to it based on our experiences and how we felt about it.
Yes it is one of my fave song that I used to sing to my ex bf. I love that song but i heard it first with the MYMP version.

Hi gabrielle47.
Back then when I still followed all the songs of a certain Japanese singer, I found a lot of her songs that did relate to me.
I was surprised too back then, when I checked the translations of the lyrics. Mostly I had favored the songs first before I finally found the meaning of the lyrics and most of the lyrics described my feeling that moment, or even gave some supports for my difficult situation those times, and very coincidental and happened many times.
And I even had ever started to wonder if she was a ‘space traveler’ that ever visited me unknowingly * grinning *, found my situation and then wrote the lyrics for me. LOL. But really, even her fans in various places in this world said that the singer had brought big impact on her audience and listeners. Her voice might sound strange, and perhaps some music experts would also underestimate her music and just found her have a lot of fans because of her appearance. However, for those who understood her lyrics, there was a powerful meaning behind the words, so I wish she will still sing in the future even with only one ear remaining functional.

yeah , i have this feeling . it is said that music is an universal language , people from all over the world , no matter what color of the skin , what race he belongs , they say different languages , have different cultures , but they understand the language of music , music is surpass the gap between the people , it is really amazing.

True. It happened to me a lot of times that I hated to hear it again in the radio coz it hurts and it made me think also how the lyricist felt when writing those songs.
