Do you use a list??

On a sunday, I will sit down and write a list of everything I need when I go shopping on a Monday. I plan the meals for the week too, so that everything that I need is written down. I never buy anything that is not on my list, whether it is on special offer or not! I save a lot of money by doing it this way.

I always make a list, I find that when I don't or when I forget to take my list with me to the market I always end up with at least twice as much stuff as I should have.

I always use a list...both for grocery shopping and for Walmart. We keep a running list on the dishwasher, and write down what we need as we use it up, or see we need more. I also have a great site online that provides a print out list that you can use if you are in a hurry. My hubby won't let me shop without a list, and usually makes me stick pretty close to the lists. LOL. He's kind of anal. But that way we know approximatly how much our bill will be before we head out. We also shop together. I do but it does not work. I went today with a list, and I ended up adding about 5 more items. I spent a couple dollars over my budget also. I keep telling myself one day I would stick to the list and the budget. Well, I will keep trying.

I use to just go in and get some stuff. I found that I spent way to much money doing it that way, and sometimes I would forget somethings I needed. Now I make a list of what I need and stick to it. It really does help save on money.
