Do you always follow the Vet Instructions?

On what to feed your dog for treats? We now feed our dog carrot slices instead of dog biscuits based on Vet advice.Do you have an instance where you didn't follow what your vet told you?b

I try to go by what my vet says but my dog is such a picky eater and he does not like any kind of dog food brands actually. He will go without eating if he heas to eat dog food. I know we are not supposed to feed a dog table scraps but that is all my dog will eat and he is very healthy. We do give him treats and chew bones and such also. I will not let him starve just because he does not like dog food either.

That is the same with my dog. He is very healthy and he hates dog food. I am afraid to feed him dog food now since there are so many recalls on it also. I would rather feed him myself because we always have leftovers and he likes everything we eat. I he eat fruits, vegetables and all kinds of meat too, including hot dogs.

Our dogs eat all sorts of stuff that they shouldn't. They love carrots! I was told not to feed them anything except dog food and dog bones unless they are taking medicine and then I could hide it in some cheese or part of a hot dog. So, I guess I don't listed toe the Vet on what to feed the dog.

no not really,our dog was spoiled. one of our dogs favorite treats was lolli pops. she really liked the tootsie pops. i would caring pops in the diaper bag for the kids and the dog. when we took her to the vet for her shots and the chip she did very good so when she was done i gave her one. you should of seen the vets face,he was so worried that she would eat the stick,we told her we gave them to her alot and she never eats the stick. the vet just laughed and watched to see if she did. i figured she would tell us that they worn't go for her and we should give them to her but she never said anything.

Just don't feed the doggie grapes. Apparently, that causes kidney failure. I've heard of people feeding dogs fresh green beans.
