Do you still respond to topics having a best response already ?

It will really depend on other things. If a good discussion has lots of responses and a best response has been chosen, I will usually not respond but there are a few where there was only one or two answers so I will add to it if I can even if there is already a best response. Depends on how much I want to answer I suppose and how interested I am.

I still respond to discussions that have had best response chosen already. It does not matter to me if best response has been picked already if it is a discussion that I feel I want to respond to.

yes, i still respond to. if the subject of the discussion is interesting i answer it. it actually does not make any difference for me.I actually do not respond thinking that i will get a BR for it. so i still respond to it.

Hi gabrielle47, If the topic is interesting, I will respond to it even if the best response is already marked. Please note that I will never response to a topic with any intention of getting best response - I will post a response whatever I feel correct according to me.So, even if a discussion is marked with best response, I will respond to that discussion if I feel I missed to answer tht discussion. Ya i do if the topic is really interesting and i have something to say on it. Most of the time i respond to recentltly started discussions and discussions with a few responses rather than on having 50-100 responses. So that i still have some chance of getting best response.

If I have an idea to share with or an experience that may help or give insight to the topic, it wont matter to me if the member already picked out a best response.As long as I can learn from the topic and I can contribute to it..

Yes, I do. It doesn't matter if the discussion has a best resonse or not. If I know the topic I will still give my response. Also if it caught my interest and I think that I have something to share I still give my input. I used to avoid discussions that already have the best response given away. But then I realized lately that I can still earn my two cents by responding to them anyway. Like you I also enjoy participating in discussions here on myLot so I don't mind even if I don't get the best response.

Of course I do. It doesn't matter to me that they picked someone already. To be honest I don't even look or know that they have already picked one. I answer my friends discussions from my email so I don't even see if they picked one already, till after I post mine. So it doesn't matter to me and it shouldn't to anyone else. Getting a best response does nothing for us except our egos are built up a little. It doesn't reflect our earnings or our star rating or anything. I don't even know why mylot offers it, to be honest.

Hi, sometimes others views is different from our views. So why not we post our own views about topics even if they have a best response. Who knows our views will be effective.

if i think i have a good i idea, still i would response and having the best response is not my goal here in mylot either, my goal is just to share my ideas plainly

No, i just look for topics that i am interested in or topics that my friends have started. I dont even look to see what the best one was.

I've never really paid that much attention to whether or not a best response has been chosen. I find a topic that I like and I respond...lol!

I do respond even if the best response was picked. I have read where some people will not respond once they see that the best response was chosen so it has me thinking maybe it's better not to even pick a best response so everyone will respond. Hmmmmmm just a thought.

i don't mind if best response was already selected from the members who shared the good idea...as long as the topic or the discussions caught my interest...i still post my comment on it. you will earn also by doing this...although being selected as best response will increase your ratings but i don't mind it. maybe one of the discussions soon i commented will select me as their best response.

What draws me in is the topic. I don't look at the best reponse or how many replies it has recieved. To me it's more about sharing and learning than it is about whom has the highest rating. I'm not exactly going to retire on the earnings here. I'm really enjoying meeting people. Money or not, I would still like this forum.

I'll be honest, until earlier today I didn't even know the starter of a discussion could pick a best response. Shows how much attention I pay. But of course I'll still respond to topics that have already have a best response. I feel my two cents are often valuable to the conversation so I'll say it anyway, whether another person thinks they're valuable or not. I've now done a bit of digging and to me it looks like a lot of people pick the best response far too early - sometimes it's the very first response that gets picked. And I can't help thinking "surely they should have waited to see if better responses are made"? I don't think it's a feature I'll take much notice of, really.
