what does your computer mean to you?

well somehow i find my self here, i learned to surf, chat, download, blog, lay out pictures, CAD, expand my knowledge about movies, anime, pop songs, tv series and as well earn some money, although i haven't receive any yet...

for me my computer is everything my girlfriend ..my best frnd ..... with it life is dull yaar i love it

I don't work because of health reasons and social anxiety so for me the computer is very important to me. I have friends that I would not have otherwise. I am on a group that helps me with my depression. I look forward to reading my emails in the morning and before I goto bed. I like play a few games also on my computer. I do research for my family tree and other research projects that I want to know about.

Not that id say im addicted to my computer but id be lost without it. I work with computers everyday so my home pc just ends up being a passtime for me too, although like i said i cudnt live without it. Whenever theres something i need to find out, want to learn or some video or movie i fancy watching, i just pull out the laptop and get the internet going to find what im looking for. Always using it for typing letters and occasionally playing games too but most of my time on it is spent learning or just finding out things that have bugged me for days lol. My girlfriend on the otherhand WOW... she's never off the thing. Addicted to sites like Bebo, all the social sites and always on msn. and lets not forget ebay. definately an ebay addict aswell. Sometimes i have to pry the PC away from her fingers, she spends that much time on it lol. I don't think she could live without a pc in the house anymore lol.

my computer plays a major role in my life. it is my source of updated informations everyday...not only that it will help me to cope up some problems. ..my computer also make me some extra money...lot of works to be done on my computer specially research of my school projects...i love my computer than to my mobile phone.

I think my computer means a lot of different things to me. I play games so its entertainment. I'm a stay at home mom so it works as a source of a little bit of income. it also is my connection to other adults. being a stay at home mom, i don't get much adult conversation, so its nice to talk to other adults. i also use it to get advice on parenting and such.

the computer means a lot for me & i can't imagine life without it.because of that,i chose it to study it.

My computer means a paycheck to me. It is more than a passtime. I work from home. Couldn't do that without a computer. Technology is wonderful.

My computer is my paycheck as well as my pasttime so I am on the computer nearly all day and night. However, I wouldn't say I'm addicted to the computer. (maybe slightly addicted to Puzzle Pirates) but I do get off the PC to do stuff around the house, run errands, and watch movies with my family. I think I am slightly addicted to myLot as seeing how I'm doing this while at work!

I don't think people so much love the computer as they love the internet. Many people use it to earn money online, shop, read articles and news, as well as participate in debates on a given subject of their interests.
