Can you say what job do you have and describe it? I was a secretary until i have to stay home with my little boy. I don't really had too many things to do, some accounts, distribute of the correspondence and another things that the manager ask me to do it. Aaaaa..and i had to do something that was irritating me a lot, i had to serve with coffee, water, cookies or something else the manager and all his visitors. I hardly wait your responses, maybe you will give me some idea and i will change my job with one much better.

I was a Catering Operations Corrdinator. I supervise catering for events like product launching, press conference and even private parties like wedding receptions, birthdays, etc. I get to work for 12 hours or whenever the event is finished. I coordinate with the waiters and chefs, florists, I prepare the list of equipments, I answer client inquiries, I do a lot of stuffs!!! But I resigned last week already. LOL. It's important that you really enjoy and love what you do. So that'll serve as a lesson for me to accept a job that is really what I like to do. Cheers!

Haha! Yeah, it's a nice job but the company lacks manpower. And I'm too lazy to do all that stuff too.

I don't know how is for you this job, but for me seems to be very difficult. I was learning in high school a little programming in C++, but it proved that it isn't for me. Good luck in learning English!

I used to be a field assistant that I had to travel alot. But, once I got married and have kids, I try to find a job that won't have to do alot of travel as I have family and kids to take care of. Fortunately, I got a job as an office manager in a project. I do alot of administration stuff and office management. I enjoy my job now because I still have much time to take care of my kids. Eventhough I do have to travel sometimes.

I'm a Database Analyst I at the local phone company. There are only 5 of us in the US and I take care of the South East Region. I fix any errors that occur in the database, keep the website that queries the database. We have a program that users use to create and modify data inside the database and I fix the problems with the program itself. Oh and I also made a computer program to keep track of their work. It's the next city over from where I live and it pays good for the area. Could get more pay in Atlanta, but not sure if it would be worth it or not. Before that I worked as a Team Leader in a manufacturing plant. We produced power window regulators for Toyota. I was over the production for the Corolla,Matrix,Tacoma,Avalon,Pontiac Vibe,Solara,Tundra and Sequoia. Worked there for 3 years and it was plenty stressful, people delegating their work to me and telling me that I could not delegate any work. And before that I traveled all over Al,GA and TN installing technology labs in schools. The traveling got pretty old real fast. Having breakfast, lunch and dinner by my self every day.

Until now tree of four responses are from the same technically area (approximately). It seems that you found a job that you agree (near the place where are you living, good paid).

Yes, we stay on but not forever because i think that we couldn't resist if we don't like what we do. I worked in this domain when i was a student and i can't say that it was very bad.
