I listen.
Especially if it's a person I just met or don't know very well.
You can learn a lot about a person just by listening.
And by watching little gestures. . watching their eyes and their hands as they speak.
Oh, I love to talk.
But I truly do listen more than talk.
I think there something quite edgy about listening.
One grows more informed, more alert.

i'd rather be a listener than a speaker. listening to somebody makes me more confortable. Its because i'm very shy and afraid to talk to people especially to gatherings or meetings. quite nervous ba.

Both!
When there is a good talker in my group, then I am a good listener,
when people all keep quiet, then I am good talker.
It depends!

I often talk I am not used to listen to others.
When my friend talk to me he maybe needs my help or advice.
Sometimes I can't give them good suggestion what they are eagerly to catch. When it happen i feel very sorry to my friend.I really want to give them a hand but I can't.

i am a better listener...i am mostly a quiet person who listens a lot...and people tend to tell me their problems even if i dont want to listen to them...but it works out well for my novel writing...listen to various people in society helps me create real ideas and problems for my characters that come to life in my novel.

i listen, but when i talk it would always be irrelevant, non sense, arrogant, full of criticism, and insensitive. so i prefer to listen... hehehe
but sometime, when people ask and i have the ideas, i keep talking, and suddenly stop. take a few minutes of silence then talk again, as if thinking about what to say next. that's what i am, i'm not a good really fond of chit-chatting. especially in class participation way back my elementary up to college years and i only listen...
but i'm not a good listener as well, the things that i heard just pass through. even if it's just a minute ago.

Well this is both actually , I am a good listener when I need to be , and I am a good talker too.
Being a mom , and a grandmom , I really learned to listen to all , and being a mom to half the kids in the town I live in ,where they all come to me , and I will listen and then they want my input and they usually listen to what I have to say , and stay out of trouble .
So would have to definatly say both !!

I am definitely a listener. I love to listen to people. That is how you really get to know them. People really interest me. I like to know what the love, dislike, how they feel, what their favorite things are, about their culture and family. I'm not much of a talker unless I feel passionate about the subject. Most of my friends are talkers, maybe because they like to be listened to. :~)
