When I was at hight school,I was told my my classmates that Michael Jackson had his skin whitened, and I always believed them.Till one day I searched the internet, and some big fun of him listed many proofs that the whole whiten skin thing is just a rumor. It's said,he had some kind of skin disease called albinism. His skin turned white because of abbinism, and he have to put too much makeup to disguise his disease. It's said he never show his naked face in front of the piblic even in front of his lovers.I don't know if that's true. But I like him better when his skin is black,it's just seems a little scarey to me when his skin is white.
What's your opinion about this?

Really?? I thought he had his skin whitened too. Even if it's true, not a big deal anyway. There're also many people out there having their body or face done, it's just he did it over. I honestly don't care how he looks, I still like his songs & dance :)

I think you would have been just a baby when it happened! I know about this illness, and I have seen it happen to people. But I remember Michael Jackson as a child, and I was watching television with my mom and family one evening, when this beautiful lady walks out on stage! There was a big uproar from the audience and it seemed like the whole world had gone mad! I had a little baby at the time and was not certain what was happening. I asked my mom who was the pretty lady? She looked at me and someone told me that the "pretty lady" was Michael Jackson! I could have cried! Maybe I did. He had some surgery and his nose has never been the same. His skin color may have changed due to albinism, maybe he was offered treatments and at the same time got a nose job! All I know, is that he looked so different! His hair was way different too. I am very glad that his music was the same or better than ever! Can you moonwalk yet?

I believe the skin condition he has is the same as I have. It's called vitiligo. I have a naturally white skin but since I was a baby I have been losing the pigment in patches all over my body. This does not show but if my skin gets suntanned these patches stay white. Obviously in a dark-skinned person they show up more. I believe you can get treatment to make all the skin go white, which Michael Jackson may have done. In some cases the condition will make all the skin go white. I have met other people with this condition. It is not curable but does no harm other than making your skin very sensitive to sunlight.
