What night dreams have you had? Any strange and unusual or repeating dreams?

It seems that we often have dreams at night that are representative of what we are dealing with in life... Yet there are dreams that just stand out because they are so strange and different or because they seem to repeat over and over again. What night dreams stand out to you as being strange, unusual, scary, good or different or what dreams have repeated over and over in your life?

I have some strange repeating dreams. not really repeated but it seemed like a continuous dream like TV serials. LOL.
I keep dreaming about some place I have never known. I don't know what place it was either.
and the funniest and also the strangest one about these dreams is ... in the next dreams I would again think it (in awareness) this way "hey! I have been in this place before!"

Wow, I wish I could describe all parts of the place with words. * grinning *
I keep dreaming about a certain giant area which looked like a super mall, but to my amazement, they had underground “Heaven like” food courts, those were complete, I could find all of them within those two level basements. One basement was special for all beverages, desserts and even various kinds of ice creams and some cafés too. Another level of basement was special for various kinds of food stalls, restaurants. LOL. I wonder if I was hungry during those sleeping hours so I had experienced the dreams.
At the ground floor, I would find myself at some lobby, like a five star hotel. But it was a giant size of lobby, I should say. LOL. I even checked the outside to see what the building looked like and sometimes within other dream ‘serials’ with this same place, I found myself riding some certain car up to their parking building or to pick up someone waiting for me at the lobby.
Oh my, I can’t stop wondering as I’m typing this now. :P
And in other dreams (about this giant place again), I found myself have some walk towards some other levels at upper ground and up to some level (I guess it was the 4th floor if I count the levels of the escalators running down to) and found amazing elevators and especially the escalators.
There was an area at that certain floor, where I faced four escalators. Two in the middle were for a ‘transit’ level (to my shock, it was a ‘floating’ level, special for accessing more escalators again to 4 different directions), I know it was unbelievable. LOL.
And another two at both sides (left and right) were for accessing directly to two levels below us (at once!) and it was again, a ‘transit’ level however this one still had some access to shopping areas, and there was a shortcut to some apartments areas (they had access to 7 apartment blocks developed by different property developers).
Okay I think I have typed too long here, but I also had some access to the apartments. I ever found one tower was rather spooky (I was actually on the way to pay a visit to someone at the 47th floor) and later I decided to step back and left the tower as soon as possible (and I felt really glad that I woke up that morning! * grinning *)
And I kept visiting a certain apartment tower and kept meeting those people again on the fifth floor (special food areas within the tower), and I even found myself bringing a tray (with some food) asking one guy there, “Hi, the other tables are full, may I share the table with you here?” LOL. Was I living there? In the dream I kept remembering that I lived on the seventh floor. There would be a wow, because that was two levels apartment suite. LOL.
I might sound crazy because when I told my mother about the dreams, and the next ‘serial’ I later dreamed, she would look at me and wonder if I was actually living within two bodies at the same time. I wish you could see the look on her face. * grinning *
Nobody has the clue about this place. I wish I could even draw it, but no luck, I’m not good in drawing. LOL.
Well, I think I have been typing too long here. But I would really want to know if my soul actually went somewhere when I slept back then. Maybe if I ever found those faces (of the people I kept dreaming of) here in this real world, I would be very curious to approach them and say “Hello, I think I remember somebody who resembled you a lot. I wonder if we have ever been neighbors back then?” LOL.
I wonder if I would dream the next serial again tonight, perhaps I had become too obsessed with the escalators, two food courts basement levels and the ice creams, and the neighborhood area within the apartment tower. Hahaha.
You have really started a great discussion.

I wonder what it would be like if you wrote a script or other story in that place... perhaps you would be successful at selling it... Have you tried to write down what that place looked like and/or draw it?

That question about where your Soul went and whether it actually went into that other life in that other apartment complex has been asked by others. There are some who say that we are in a multitude of universes and that in each we are living different lives and that sometimes we momentarily can slip into these worlds sometimes without knowing it... There are some too who say that there are astral worlds which we can visit during the night and delight in or not... and still there are others who might say that your dream could be predictive in nature.
I had an odd dream once in which I visited this one area and was swimming in the ocean and got out in a hurry when the mud came at me. I later in the dream found a woman who also had the mud come towards her and she went with the experience, bathed in the mud and became a healer of the earth. I ended up in the dream following her lead and then being taken up in a UFO at the end of the dream...
A few years later, I was browsing on the net and found a story about this site in Peru where UFOs apparently directed people to bathe in a muddy area for healing.
I must admit that I was amazed by it... It was as if I had visited the place in my dreams without ever leaving the States. This was rather strange to me. I can remember that soon after that dream experience, I did purchase some mud and did bathe with it at home just because I thought that it might be beneficial. It proved to be at the time.
Sometimes listening to the messages in the dreams and heeding them is productive.
In your case, I wonder if you will design something based on that... perhaps a community that has aspects of that or a building with aspects of that. There are presently apartments that are tied to shopping centers with large food courts where a person could get many types of foods. I have not seen too many ones that high though... most are only a few stories tall.

Wondering how much feels like it is in real life and how much like someone else's life?

I think I understand... In your dream you have a vision of things to come...
We in the States call them prophetic or predictive dreams.
If you write down your dreams with their date and then write down what happened during the day that was similar to what occurred in the dream, it might be fun for you.
You could then prove to yourself that you are having these types of dreams and use them to assist you in every day life.

in my opinion, dreams related with our activities. what i ever read that a good quality sleeping happened when you sleep and you have no dream while you were sleeping.
anyhow, there is also fact that some dreams have some meaning which usually told us about future either our futures or another futures which related with us. but none able to know when we have those kind of dream

Ah a dreamless sleep is good... Yet sometimes the dreaming sleep is also good...
wondering what things you have heard about dreams and their meanings regarding the future,
Are there any things that you have heard about regarding seeing things in dreams or things happening in dreams?

Hi Whiteheron, Interesting discussion,
Yes I do see a strange dream which keeps repeating and then sometimes even continues from where it had stopped.
I see a dark railway platform from where I travel in a hugh train which travels very fast and it stops again on another very lonely station, where I see same roads and houses and market and I feel like have seen these places before.....after few days I see same village and end up again on railway platform. I don't know what is the meaning of this repeated dream, but I do see it again and again.

I am wondering if there are ever any people in the dream and how they react to you.
Also wondering if there are any feelings associated with the dream...
Wondering if you are perhaps feeling alone and wanting the company of others or are perhaps feeling like you are in a state of travel and group think sometimes and wishing for freedom and movement...
Wondering too if this village is in the present or distant past.

It is indeed unusual to see fruit borne on the wrong tree... very odd...
I am wondering where you live... Are there a lot of snakes where you live... also if you are near the water...
I am glad that you have never drowned in your dreams... That would be horrible.

I've had some crazy dreams over the yrs...some really great ones and some brutal nightmares too...In all honesty there really isnt any one in particular that stands out above any others...I mean there are some that I have had that I'll never forget but too many to pick just one that tops them all..

Do you ever write your dreams down and look at them later? Some people do something like telling themselves that they are going to solve a problem in their dreams... Have you ever tried this?

Sounds to me like perhaps you are sometimes fearing losing balance in some areas... like perhaps things get out of control and you perhaps feel like you fall down in some areas or do not measure up to your expectation... That is just a guess.

I have many dreams that don't really stand out in my head. Except one that I have had since I can rememeber. I always have it when I get really sick, usually a fever. I've had this dream for so long that is doesn't scare me anymore. But I find it strange that i keep having it and i am 28 years old. It's actually two dreams that run together.
