When do you wear makeup?

Sorry the answer is seldom, as I'm a real tomboy. My husband accepts me just the way I am now. If we are going somewhere really fancy, then I'll wear a little. I think women shouldn't feel they have to wear makeup. Women should wear it when they want to and not because society thinks women should spend money being made up. My male friends aren't expected by society to wear "War Paint", so it shouldn't be expected by society for women.

I wear eyebrow pencil practically all of the time. I have red hair, but light blond eyebrows, so if I don't color them in, they don't show up and it looks like I don't have any eyebrows, lol. I feel a little self conscious about that, so I always color in my eyebrows, rather I'm going somewhere, or just sitting at home. The only other makeup I wear very often is eyeshadow, mascara and eyeliner, which I usually wear if I'm going out somewhere. On very rare occassions I will also put on lipstick or lip gloss, but I don't bother with that often as it usually seems to wear off faster then what it's worth to put it on.

I never wear makeup. I think it makes me look like a clown LOL. I just don't think i need to wear any right now either. I used to wear it a little bit when I was younger though because I thought I needed to do it to impress people and show them my feminine side.

I wear makeup all the time except Sundays if I am not going out! Sometimes I get so bored at home, I would have a bit makeup on just to mess with my face and look nice so I won't feel depressed (it works for me!).

I only wear make up when I am going out and when company comes over. I don't wear a lot just some eye make up. I will put some lip gloss on for special occasions. Even when I go out sometimes I won't put any one, for instance if I am going to check the mail or just riding in the car with someone and not going in anywhere. If I do go into any stores then I make sure I put at least a little bit on.

Everytime I go out even if I will just eat at the ground floor. I have problems with under eye dark circles so I have to put some concealer and then pressed powder. I sometimes put lip shiner. That's it. I rarely put anything more that.

I wear makeup occasionally. For social gatherings and functions I wear very light makeup like just the foundation, eye liner and lipstick, but whenever I have a stage performance I do wear a lot of makeup in order to look more beautiful :) I do like to put on eyeliner everyday but foundations and compact does not work very well for me as my skin is very prone to pimples then.

i dont wear it often, but now that i sell Avon i will have to start wearing it more:) hugs- Dn

I only wear makeup if I'm going somewhere.

I don't wear much makeup. When I go out I usually dust my face with pressed powder, put liner on my eyes and brows and lastly lip gloss. When I go to office, I add eyeshadow to my simple routine. I only wear full makeup during special occasions which I do myself.

When I was younger I would not leave the house without having my mascara, eyeliner and lipstick on, with a dash of powder on my face to hide those greasy patches. I went through a phase of putting on foundation, powder, mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow and rouge. I'd spend hours plastering my face and loads of money on different colours etc. Now, well, I'd be lucky to leave the house with a bit of mascara and perhaps lipstick. If I'm going out and dress up then yes I'll put on a bit more but not much! It is so much easier when you are living in a hot climate and you have a bit of a tan :) When I was working in London then it would always be mascara, eyeliner and lipstick with a bit of powder. Oh I'm so glad I'm not there any more 0)

Hi orchid..i actually wear make up everyday...but only a bit...a touch of foundation...some blusher...and mascara...a little lipstick..thats because if i dont i look sooo pale that its awaful!!!..i have a very pale complxion to start with... If i go out i like to wear a little bit more...and then i use eyeshadow too...but thats just me.... I know a lot of people who neve rwear make up...who look lovely.... and too muh make up can be a total disaster!!!

when i'm in school and in other places such as malls or occasions, i just usually use some blush on and lip gloss but when i'm at home, i don't wear make up

oh boy i couldn't tell you last time i wore makeup. i love it but i never really go anywhere other then to the store maybe and with the 3 boys its hard to take the 5 minutes to do it. plus the cost of it is crazy so i don't buy it.

I have not worn makeup in many years - probably at least 18. I just have no interest in it anymore, the thought of it being on me makes my skin like to crawl... sometimes when I see it on others I wish to take a wash rag and scrub it off... let your skin breathe! how funny the way times change a person - when I was a teen I would not dare to empty the garbage, even, without first having my half hour makeup ritual on.

When I was in my 20s, I used to never be seen without make up, and it would be full make up too. However as I have stumbled reluctantly into my 30s, I now find that the same make up now has the ability to age me by 10 years! So I now tend to just wear minimal make up and go for a more natural look, most days I do not bother with it and some days I will put some tinted moisturiser on, lipstick and mascara. When I go out for a night out I just put bits on as I do not want to look 10 years older, I am still looking for a foundation that does not show up every little line that I have earned over the last couple of years!

I wear make up only when i go out. The secret is to put a good creme under make up and when you are home to put it away very carefully! If you do not do this make up maybe helps you look like better but also destroy your skin! Also after you remove your make up you have to wash your skin with the special soap and put creme again! I own a pharmacy so i know what i say!

i do wear a little make when i feel down i just want to make myself feel pretty as i have a low asteme on myself and i like to try and make myself pretty but i don't always wear makeup everyday as my mum said if you wear to much make up it can cause you to have spots i don't know whether this is true so i just apply a little
