Sometimes I just have the noise of the TV in the background, but lately a few times, I have been listening to Pandora on the computer. I like this site, as it lets you pick the station. All you have to do is type in which artist or song you want to listen to and it will give you a station with that kind of music. I have selected, Lee Anne Rimes, Keith Urban, Josh Gracin, Enrique Inglaceis (spelling). This is music without commercials! I Love it! So do you listen to music stations on the computer?

you can go to usliveradio.com and listen to real radio stations from all over the world. for the kind of site you're talking about (no commercials) slacker's pretty cool. you can pick type of music and then pick bands to make your own stations (i.e. Aerosmith Radio)

I hardly have the televison or the radio on when I am working online because it really distrats my train of thought. I have to have peace and quiet when working most of the time especially if what I am working with, needs alot of thought. I have a hard time concentrating. I have listened to music stations on my computer though when I am just chilling out though.

I listen to talk radio via the computer. We have several talk shows here in Maryland that I like to listen to so I do it while I am on the computer.

my connection is just dial up and not very fast at that - I am not sure that I could properly listen to the radio station over the computer. though I do like to listen to a music cd now and again. currently I do not have speakers so I am resigned to listening to the natural noises around the place - the birds singing, the roosters crowing, the children laughing - etc.

I am not interested in music stations. I prefer to listen to songs directly. And sometimes if you open a lot of software, then music station speed will have an effect and the result will be bad. This is one reason I don't listen to it.

I didn't really know you could do this. I will have to check it out. If I listen to music on the computer I usually listen to it from a cd I have.

I have a rhapsody account but I have only used it to listen to a specific song here and there...they have stations, too, but I don't know the ins and outs of it. I haven't heard of pandora, I may check it out. So if you select an artist, they play only that artist? That would be cool. I do listen to a contemporary Christian radio station out of the city I used to live in...they broadcast online and we just don't have a good one here. :( They are commercial free, too, lol...but I know what you mean- it's nice sometimes to listen to JUST music, no talk.

I personally use Sirius Radio, which is the satelite radio that we use for our cars. When you have Sirius, you can log onto your Sirius account while on the computer, and listen to the radio stations that are on there. I do this every now and then, but more often than not I'm watching television while I'm on the computer. I turn on my Premium Channels On Demand, and watch one of the movies that is on either HBO or CineMax. As a matter of fact, I'm actually watching Little Big League now, and I think it's pretty cute, and I'm surprised I've never seen it before. I've also used Pandora, and really liked it, so I don't blame you for using it. I liked how it has no commercials, and the fact that you can type in an artist and listen to music related to that artist.

I have listened to radio through the pc...its good..i like lstening to the music...but my favourite way of doing it is via you tube or msn music...i love to put my headphones on and turn the volume up..its lovely!!! I like to listen to all sorts and reverything...from the classics to pop and rock. I thought that number one that has just been knocked off its perch was quite good...the song by Duffy...better than the one thats overtaken her!!
