Anything interesting or crazy happen to you today? Due to April 1st, being April Fools day, sometimes strange things happen. Or you hear crazy stories, that prove to not be true tomorrow.

The history of April Fool's Day or All Fool's Day is uncertain, but the current thinking is that it began around 1582 in France with the reform of the calendar under Charles IX. The Gregorian Calendar was introduced, and New Year's Day was moved from March 25 - April 1 (new year's week) to January 1.
Communication traveled slowly in those days and some people were only informed of the change several years later. Still others, who were more rebellious refused to acknowledge the change and continued to celebrate on the last day of the former celebration, April 1. These people were labeled "fools" by the general populace, were subject to ridicule and sent on "fool errands," sent invitations to nonexistent parties and had other practical jokes played upon them. The butts of these pranks became known as a "poisson d'avril" or "April fish" because a young naive fish is easily caught. In addition, one common practice was to hook a paper fish on the back of someone as a joke.

No, nothing interesting here...lol My computer was acting strange for about 5 minutes... emails wouldn't load so I could read them. But as quick as it started it stopped...no jokes or surprises for me today. Just as well I suppose.

Yes, Go read my Consumer Alert, The telecomunications is selling out their customer base and the consumers are getting screwed while AT&T is making a killing and then protecting those that are doing the skim scam thank you man and AT&T is the muscle doing the collecting

i'm someone who tends to get tricked real easily especially by my hubby. on apr 1, he called me and told me that the king of nepal and his wife were killed in an ambush. they're not that well liked also so i thought it was true. i was really shocked. my internet was not working so i couldn't go online to check out the story. he told me to tell my sister also which i did immediately after hanging up the phone. that was in the morning.
in the afternoon, he called me up to talk about it and asked me what day it was. i told him, still had no clue yet. i can be really dense sometimes. hehe then he told me april's fool and i was like, well you can imagine yourself. hehe this is not the first time also, he has tricked me before too. tht morning i had it in my head that it's april fool and he'd try to trick me but i forgot all about it thus i got tricked.
