I came from another popular site, I'm sure the reason why we join sites like this is to be able to make friends from around the world, this of course followed by our intention to earn while socializing.
You know that im new here but if you were to ask me, i will never reject anyone who wants to connect with me as friends. Deleting on the other hand is not in my thoughts too unless otherwise that person is already inflicting harm on you and to other people around, leaving inactive people in my list is not a big deal.

I will allow the 'friends' to sit there and I will watch to see if there is activity. If someone is posting to myLot regualrly then I will add them if not then I won't.
There have been a few that I have deleted 'cause of the lack of content or the subject matter they decide to write about.
Thanks
Zelo

For the one year that i have been member of mylot... i have never rejected a friend request... i always accept regardless of race, gender, age, or the number of post... but i have my own share of deleting friends in my list... but mainly because they were inactive for a very long time... and that they have less than 100 posts...

I have never denied a friend request but I have deleted friends before. The only way I delete friends is if they send me a pm trying to get me to join sites they belong to I do not like that at all.

I usually have a look at their profile and some of the discussions they have started or commented on. I have never refused a request to be a friend as I consider that to be a compliment, they have obviously seen something in a post of mine that they like or identify with.

sometimes i just delay friend request for some of days cause i would like to know how far the points that they had got increased. when i saw there was any increasing in points, it would prrove that they are active enough in mylot and i would like to accept them.
but most of time, i just accepted them but didn't active their notification until i saw there is any increasingin their points. please don't get me wrong, i just like to have friends who more active in mylot cause more they active in mylot more i know about their selves

Most of the time I will accept everyone the only time is when someone hasn't bothered to look at my discussions or responded, newbies that you just know that once you accept them will spam you left right and centre, so I am wary of that! I think it's decency and politeness to at least read someone's discussion before asking for their friendship! But I am a very friendly guy and enjoy making friends online with new people.

The only ones I have denied were people who had already offended me, usually by showing intolerance or hatred. There was one guy who had been in a discussion with me about a controversial issue we both felt strongly about, and I was okay with him as long as he was polite, but then he started just going off and calling me evil because I didn't agree with him... he sent me a friend request later after seeing another discussion of mine, and I think he didn't realize I was the same person he had been so mean to, but I didn't accept his request.
That's the only one I can remember ever denying, actually.
