As some of you already know, it's my brother's 6th birthday. He was able to choose what we would have for dinner tonight, so he chose to go to the Chinese buffet. We are currently awaiting the rest of the family to get off work to go out and eat. I personally don't like the Chinese buffets out here in Pennsylvania, as it's not nearly as good as in New York, but I will go, because it's what he wants.
Do you enjoy Chinese food? Where do you go for the best Chinese food?
My favorite Chinese places are Chung-Sarr in Rocky Point, NY, and also The Crystal Buffet in Islandia, NY.

I love Chinese food. Just had some for lunch. We go to a place near here called "New China Buffet". They are a local chain with really good food. My favorite those is a place called "Happy Friends" in Spring Valley, CA. Its in the middle of nothing but it is sooo good.

I've heard that there is some really good chinese food places in California, but I've never been there. I hope to be able to visit there someday, but I know it's not going to happen anytime soon.

I don't like chinese food but I had a couple friends that loved it and they always wanted to go to a chinsese restaraunt to eat so I had to find something I liked I found one that called almond chicken that I didn't mind and the fortune cookies are always awesome.

I love fortune cookies, I could eat them all the time if given the chance. My sister doesn't like them unless they are crumbled up and mixed with vanilla ice cream. I think that tastes very good too, and wish that they would actually make Fortune Cookie flavored Ice cream, because I think it would be a great seller, and taste great.

I live in Pennsylvania also and Chinese is fine but given a choice, I'd have chosen Italian. That's my favorite cusine, art, style etc. I love all things Italian!

We are Italian, so we always have Italian dishes. I personally would prefer to have Chinese food over Italian food, because I'm so bored with eating Italian all the time. When I do eat Italian food, my favorite place to go is Pompei in Rocky Point, NY, because they make the best chicken parmesan pasta dish I've ever had!

I am a HUGE fan of chinese food and I would have it all the time if I could, but not all mine like it so it is very rare that I get to have it. We normally just order in from a takeaway. My favourite is sweet and sour dishes but I do like to try different things every so often. I f we go out for a meal we go to a chinese restaurant that is just up the road from us, its lovely, lovely food and lovely service. I have never been to a chinese buffet although there are places that do that now near us, so it will have to go on my list of things to do!!

That's great that your brother likes Chinese food at such a young age. A lot of kids don't like food from another culture until later. I liked it young, though. I still like Chinese food. I usually go to Great Wall Express, which is actually American style Chinese fast food. But, a good restaurant in San Diego to go to is Hsu Schezuan Cuisine. They have great Dim Sum. Also, if you go into the mid-city area, you can find a great variety of Chinese bakeries, grocery stores, and other Asian food places to buy from.

I have tried so many Chinese buffets in Illinois, Georgia, and Florida, and I always loved the food. Maybe it's because I'm not very picky. I have heard though that Chinese buffets are not the best when it comes to hygiene/sanitation.
Here in the Philippines my favorite is North Park's boneless chicken chops. They're crispy and yummy especially with the chili sauce.

I think its great that he gets to pick out where he wants to go to dinner. I love chinese. There are only a couple good buffets here in Ohio. I like take out from a small shop down the road from where I work but I'm sure its not the best of whats out there.

I like chinese as long as the hygienical condition could be proved. If you are luck enough, you can taste delicious chinese food. chinese food is different from other countries' meal. Varieties of seasons, all kinds of flavours and all sorts of making methods impress me. In China, different province has different flavour for food.It is really unreasonable for someone who don't taste the real chinese food before expressing their unsatisfaction. Good luck!
