I know many of us here enjoy listening to music. Sometimes we find ourselves at certain times listening to something New and it ends up growing on us. Maybe it is something that is BIG for the younger generation that once you hear it, you are hooked on it as well.
I know for me, there are a lot of different genres that I enjoy. Sometimes it definately is easier to listen to some types when I am down than the times everything is OK, and as I get older some of the music I liked when I was younger is considered Boring to me.
For me a lot of my Music likes has come from being an American Idol fan, and seeing all the different stuff they do each week. Some I like, while some I wish they would never do as well. But for me, I usually prefer Country overall most of all. No matter what mood I am in, I can always listen to Singers like Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, and Carrie Underwood. But when I am feeling down or depressed I enjoy listening to Christian music as it usually has good messages in it that help encourage and lift me up where needed as well.
So what music suits you, and which mood is it Best suited for?

I love Rascal Flatts, when I am down in the dumps, they always cheer me up. I also love Johnny Cash for getting a good part off to a great start. Seems as though when I put him on, the place starts to hop.

The MAN IN BLACK was and is still awesome to listen to. I saw a Johnny Cash tribute last year at a local bar here in Minnesota. There were 8 acts performing and all did a great job.

We Love Rascal Flatts, and would really Love to see him in Concert. Johnny Cash was awesome too. He will be missed for a long time, and one of my favorites of his was "I Walk The Line."

I have to agree with you, though my prefernce all the time is Christian music. Though I do listen to easy listening music from time to time. My youngest daughter of course likes different music, but she knows I will listen to country, so that is what she will usually turn it to when we are in the car together.

I just saw Etta James in concert. She is an older blues and jazz singer. When I am down in the dumps I love jazz and blues. When I drive a long distance I love listening to classical music. I listen mostly to 50's and 60's music at home etc. That's my gave genre of music.

You like American Idol then do you? Sometimes we watch that here in UK, I like the audition bit of it best!! What do you think of Simon Cowell? Well as for music for me, I love all kinds of music, I listen to a real wide variety of things, but if I am feeling a little down then I mainly go for pop music that will lift me up and I can sing too, nothing like a good sing song to lift your spirits!!
