Papa Murphey's

We recently got a new pizza place in our town. It's called Papa Murphey's and the pizza is fantastic. The only catch is that you cook it yourself. Do you guys have a place like this where you live? It's fantastic!!!!

We have one by where we live too. I haven't had it in a long time but I remember it being really greasy - good but greasy.

Hmmm... it wasn't really greasy when we had it. Then again, grease is pretty common when it comes to pizza! Thanks for the response!

I have seen a few of them, but I have never had the pizza. There was a place like that in the town I grew up in. The pizza was always really good. There was another place that you could get it cooked or uncooked. It was your choice.

I don't have any pizza places like that near me in Ma. When I lived in WA. there were quite a few take & bake pizza places. I lived there 6 years and never bought one...lol I would rather just have them cook it for me... or I buy them at the grocery store freshly made and bake it at home. Papa Murphy's is one of the places that they have in Spokane, WA where I was. Blessed be, Mari

Papa Murphey's is the only "take & bake" pizza place that I've ever heard of. As I said, we love it! Thanks for responding!

It sounds like a wonderful place. Here in Ohio I dont know of any place like that around us. I would love to make my own at a pizza place. I love pizza and could eat it every day.

They actually make the pizza for you, you don't get to be "hands on" or anything. It's like Subway, you go through and tell them what you want on it, or you can call ahead! It is a wonderful place! Thanks for the response!

We have had one for a couple of years and they are fantastic! They are reasonable priced and the pizza is very good! I really enjoy Papa Murphy's! Hope you find the same!

When I lived in Colorado there was one close by. We loved that place. I also miss that place. Now that we are here in Mississippi I don't know where or if there is a papa murphys. Thanks for the memories.

NP:) I love their pizza! You can order however many and what you don't plan to eat immediately, you can throw in the freezer. It's great!!! Anyhow, thanks for the response!

We have quite a few different "take 'n bake" pizza places nearby. I love one that's only 3 blocks away...the offer whole wheat crusts and lots of different veggies that most other pizza places don't have...so it at least seems a bit healthier :)

That I know of there is not a Papa Murphey's anywher near me. That would be cool to go get a pizza and cook it yourself the pizza should be cheaper since they don't have to pay for electricity for an oven or cooks just employees to fix the pizza.
