Heres another crazy abuse story from my local paper. I swear that people need to take a test before being able to be parents.
A 1-year-old boy has died from head injuries as his mother and her boyfriend remain jailed.
Police said he sustained multiple skull fractures and bleeding in his brain after an incident Monday. Since then, he had been hospitalized.
Police have not said how the child was injured.
The boy's mother, and her boyfriend, were arrested prior to the boy's death on felony counts of child endangering.
The mother told officers her boyfriend sat her son on a dresser, punched the boy twice in the head and slammed the child on the motel floor.
Job and Family Services will continue to pursue a complaint alleging abuse and neglect against the mother. Her 2 year old daughter has been removed from her mother's care.
The hospital removed the boy from life support this morning after tests showed the child was clinically dead. An autopsy is being done.

Oh, the poor kid. I don't know what this world is coming to. I am just so disgusted with all this child abuse that goes on daily. And what about all the poor children that don't get brought to the doctor or hospital. I babysat for some people when I was really young. There was a 3 year old boy and a two week old baby. The first night I babysat the baby was crying in her crib. I went into the bedroom to get her and the 3 year old ran in front of me yelling don't hit her. I said I'm not going to hit her, I am just going to get her up and change her then give her a bottle. He said "oh, daddy wants to smash her face" I didn't know what to do so I told him it would be OK, daddy was just mad. Later I called my mother and told her. I babysat 2 nights later and the 3 yr old had a black eye that he insisted he got hurt in his grandpa's basement when a door fell on him... I didn't believe it then or now but I was only 13 and didn't know much about child abuse. My mother said she didn't want me to babysit for them anymore but I did. They broke up 2 weeks later when "daddy" beat the crap out of the mother. A week later the kids went to live with the grandmother and I guess the mother went to jail for what I don't know..... crazy.

I don't know how anyone can do this to a little baby, especially by their parents. I understand that some babies cry constantly and it can really rake on your nerves, but one should never beat a child over something it's doing out of it's natural instincts. This was a poor, defenseless baby.

Stories like these upset me to the core. They need to be sent where the sun don't shine and locked away for good. No child deserves to die.

There are so many of these stories, and they are all so heartbreaking. I do not understand why someone would want to do that to a tiny harmless defenceless child, when I look at my children I could never ever hurt them in anyway, even when they push me to my limits I could never hurt them. If someone did that to my child I would have killed them, I just do not get it at all.

Man I really want to meet this man and sit him down on a dresser then wail into his head as many times as I can then body slam him on a floor so he can see what this child has suffered. things like this just makes me upset. I dont understand how a father can harm his child and not give him/her a shot at life. I just hope that karma comes around and gives him what he deserves.

Oh my word. How can people be so cruel??! This kind of things make me sick. I will never understand how somebody could injure such a small helpless child. They dont know any better. Your right some people should have to take a test or something and if they fail they cant become parents! Unfortuanlly that's not how life goes. It's not fair to these children have to suffer for life or have to die because of a stupid action.

This is such a sick story. It is so sad to see the loss of a life so young but to be such a horrible way to go. I am glad the two year old is out and safe now. How a mother can let a man touch her kids I don't know. I could not bare seeing anyone harm my child. My heart goes out to his sister and loved ones.

Sometimes you wonder about people don't you.
I cannot understand how anyone could hurt a child like that.
I know kids can be really hard to deal with at times... I remember once my daughter slapped me in the face and I slapped back then ran into my bedroom mortified because I had struck her... but to lose it so bad that you kill the child. I just don't know how it can be done.
Anybody who does that to their own child would HAVE to be mentally ill. I don't want to imagine a world where a person could just do it gratuitously.

I don't know what's wrong with some women, that they can stand by and watch their man abuse their child.
I've always been able to understand people fighting each other, having bar fights, holding a grudge, but any violence against a child is just incomprehensible.
I hope they lock both of them up for a long long time. In my opinion she's as guilty as the boyfriend.
