i felt many, we can't deny the nervous is there, shy, fear and wonder what happen next. specially during you first class...i can't imagine how terrible that was. but when you get on to your classmates your feeling would change. we are not alone felt that way maybe almost all of our classmates feels what we feel. first day of school is so unforgetable.

The first day of university I was so scared. I didn't know what to do with myself. But I told myself that I have to stop it and grow up because I'm going out to the real world and if people smell fear then they will pounce. So here I am now two years later. I feel so comfortable. I love my university and am about to become a junior.

Well, going to our university alone for the first time felt exciting but when I reached our school closer and closer, I felt more nervous than ever. I felt I wanted everything over with and go home. I really didn't talk much or wanted to ignite a conversation with anyone. When classes were over as each professor who attended gave their initial remarks, I immediately went straight home. It went like that for me a couple of days until I finally got to talk to most of my classmate and got the chance to hang out with them. I then began coming home later than sooner but, that was alright

Hello dear friend. The first day when I was at college, I was very excited as it was not easy for us people to go to college in the early eighties. Why? There were not so many unversities or colleges then and only about three out of ten could get the chance to go to college after the college entrance examination. That is to say, without getting the top points in the national college entrance examination, there was no chance to go to college. So I was very happy and excited to get the chance to go to college. But now things are different. With the fast development of our country in many fields, almost everything is at its best and there are more and more colleges and unversities and vocational colleges and so on, creating more and more chances for high school students to go to college. Time is different and marching forward. There are more chances for the youngsters today. By the way, I hope that you enjoy your study at college. Take care, dear friend.

i found college life much more easier than highschool. but still, im not a social kind of person, so instead of saying hi* to people, i expect people to do that to me. so its kinda hard for me to adjust the new environment especially finding new friends. took me a week to get to know ONE friend.

I am a sophomore,I have been a college student for nearly 2 years.Your question reminds me of the feelings that I have during my firstday in university. At that time,I felt everything was new and different.I had to change something to adapt to the new invironment, for instance, the study method.Besides,I'm a person whose sense of direction is very poor,so I was always lost in the firstdays!
