Let me say first of all that the Doctor Surprised me last Night she really did as she was actually taking things Serious
First of all I want everyone to stop worrying the Scans are not showing anything serious at all but she is concerned about the Pain and what is causing it
I now have to see the Nurse on Tuesday to get the Coil checked out
I also have to go for Blood Tests on Wednesday Morning and she is referring me to a Gastric Specialist and we take it from there
I am not worried right now I am actually relieved that they are not just pushing it aside because nothing is showing up they are now taking further Steps to investigate
At the moment the Pain is not bad at all just a bit of discomfort now and again, but this is how it has been for over a Year now and then it will just hit me again when least expected
But things are now being looked into further
Thank you all of you for caring and supporting me on this
I love you all and I think you all know that
Big Hugs

Hooray! Nothing worse than having the doc NOT take you seriously! Glad the pain isn't too bad right now! Hang in there, they will track it down with patience and persistence!

Glad to hear the dr is taking you seriously, gabs. Did they do an ultrasound to check out your gall bladder? Still in my prayers, my friend.

Well darn it. the way you were talking, I thought for sure your gall bladder was misbehaving. All the same symptoms I had pretty much.

Hurray, and I for one am glad to hear it! There is nothing worse than not being taken seriously when you are in pain, it makes you feel like you are making it up or imagining it. Good news and lets hope that finally they will track down the source of it and can stop it for you. Constant pain is the worse thing, it wears you down and makes you feel so bad, especially when you have had it for such a long time. xx

Yes it is good as she is not the nicest Person to be honest
So it certainly surprised me that she was taking Action
When I went to her last year with my swollen Stomach she told me I was fat and had to loose weight as it will affect my Lungs and make them worse
And that was the start of this
So now you see why I am surprised

I am so glad that the scans so far are not showing anything serious and that your doctor is concerned about your pain and is trying to find out what is causing it. thank goodness for that. When I had the gallbladder attach I was so surprised when my doctor said he wanted to run all these tests as he was sure from my symtoms it was gallstones but am glad he did and we found out I had a humongous gall stone just one but it was in a place that really made for pain. When i got sick a year ago I was bleeding profusely from the rectum of all places and was scared spitless so when I went to one of my doctors buddies he ordered me to the emergency room immediately and I was nonplussed at all the test and scans and stuff they did but they finally figured out that I had diverticulitis and had ruptured a small blood vessel in one of the little sacs in my colon.Wo I had to have four units of blood before the bleeding stopped but my point is that they were not going to give up until they found what was causing my bleeding and tummyache and I am so grateful to all three of those doctors for not giving up. hope your doctor keeps at it until she finds out why you are having pain good luck and a hug for you

Great news, gabs.
With all the tests they are going to do I hope that they will find the cause of the pain.
Hopefully the results won´t show anything serious. Well the scan went well, so there´s a reason to be optimistic.
Hugs to you

That is fantastic that things are a little better and glad the doctor came to her senses and is being nice. A nice doctor is great to have. Most of them just let you pass through that little room and then charge you a fortune for saying hello and how are you. One time, I asked my doctor a couple of questions about something I had going on, and she didn't have a clue what the answer was. All I could think was to look it up.
Anyway, good to hear your positive attitude and you will be just fine. Especially now that everyone is taking you seriously.

At least its nothing serious, but still worried about the problem overall.
As long as the doctors say you are alright and you say you are alright... that's enough to keep the worry to a minimum. Stay healthy and comfortable Gabs.

It sounds like you do have a good doctor! I have been in pain for ages now, and more than once have been insulted by emergency room doctors who acted like I was just trying to get pain meds! It can be next to impossible to get tests ordered if the doctor in charge does not really think that you are in pain! Or if it is thought of as psychological pain, you know, all in your head! Drinking a lot of water helps take some of my pain away, as well as acupuncture. I hope that helps!

Oh yes, the phleobotomists all know me there, and always just give me the order, tell me the colors (since I am bad at identifying which order with which color tubes), and they send me back. it also saves time, as there is a wait of other people anyway, and it saves times for us all. :o)

I"m glad to read these news twin dear. SOmetimes it makes it so much worse, not what we have, but the fact that we feel doctors are not really paying attention or even sometimes acting as we're overreacting.
SO now that you know that they are actually doing something about it and investigating it further, it's only natural that you feel better.
Big hug to you

It's such a shame though gabs that it took so long for any doctor of yours to do anything sooner..I mean to put you through all this for so long is not fair to say the least, but at least you're getting some attention to things now and hope they can finally discover what is causing all your pain...my thoughts are with you as always (((hugs)))

I wish you the best gabs in finding out what ever it is that's ailing you like it is. I have pain in my back when I do too much around the house but it's not like yours where it's basically taken over my life. I pray you find out what it is so it can be taken care of. Bless your heart sweetie!

I am glad that they have not found anything serious on the scans. I hope that they find out what is causing your pain though. I am also glad that they are taking your concerns and pain seriously. My husband has been to numerous GI doctors in the last year and some of them just seemed like they were just ready to get him out of the office and get on to the next patient. Keep us updated on your condition though and good luck with the upcoming appointments.

Hi Cortney
All Doctors are like that
The same Doctor that is now seeing this through sent me home last Year when I went to see her about my swollen Stomach she told me it was fat and that I was to loose 7 pounds as it will affect my damaged Lungs, so I ended up going home crying, when the Pain got worse and worse I did not dare to go back to her I got rushed into Hospital and since then the Action is being taken
I hope that your Husband will find a Doctor that cares
Hugs
