What do you do over weekends?

This weekend has been the most boring weekend I have had since I moved from Winnipeg to Calgary. I moved here and my daughter and I got a house together and since she went to her boyfriend's house on Friday night and still has not come home, I don't have a car yet, so I am kind of stuck at home. I don't know any people here yet, either, so I don't have any friends yet. So all weekend I just did the house work and laundry, including washing and changing sheets on our beds, and watching some TV and working on the internet. I have done more mylotting this weekend than I usually do all week.

Its getting hot in here dear! I love to go to the beach... But for the moment i stayed in my brother's house and helping watched my baby niece...

Usually during weekend I stay in my room and use Internet the whole day. If the connection is down, I grab books and have soem mug of coffee. Lie on top of my bed the whole day.

We don't do much on the weekends because my husband and I both work seven days a week. It doesn't leave much time for anything. I work alot of hours on and offline. There is so much to keep up with around the home also. Summer is coming up though and we have some yard projects we need to get done, We will have to take some time to do those.

I used to do those things when I was still single. But now that i have 2 kids, I just want to spend time with my children. I find that I no longer enjoy much if I spend time away from them. They have become my pivot point.

Now that its becoming Spring, I can do more over the weekend. Go to parks and relax, sit outside on the stoop, have a picnic. Then there are other occasional fun things I do like go out to an arcade or go to an electronics shop, sometimes a bookstore is the weekend stop. Most times I do prefer relaxation after some long hours at the work week.

I really like to sleep in, relax and watch tv. There are a lot more sports on television over the weekend, and I enjoy those. The weekend is also about the only time that I fix a home cooked breakfast.

Depending on what is going on over the weekends is usually what I go with. April is a busy busy month over the weekends this year. This weekend is a busy one too. Tonight it is a friends birthday so we are heading out clubbing so it should be a good time. Tomorrow night I have a Wedding Social for a guy that I went to elementary with. Should be a good time lots of people I haven't seen in years. Next weekend is a busy one as well as it's my cousin's Wedding social so that will be more of a family affair than a friend affair.

We do things together as a family spend time together go out walking or playing in the park. Visit family one day for a few hours and relax the rest of the day.
